Burton Process Flying V Snowboard - Blem 2012

Riding the Burton Process Flying V Snowboard is like eating your favorite food. It’s got all your favorite ingredients – the tasty traction of Frostbite Edges, succulent cushioning of Smooth Ride™ and the pop of Jumper Cables. This board will be just as good on day 100 as it was on day one thanks to Infinite Ride™, so unlike your favorite food, it will never spoil.
Rocker Type
Flying V™ spring-loaded blend of camber and rocker performance offers the best of both worlds. Rocker overall, including between and outside your feet, enhances playfulness and float through pow.
Flex
Flex Rating – 3 (1 Relaxed – 10 Responsive)
Just right for freestyle riders, this versatile board can handle any park jump, rail or jib you throw at it.
Construction and Core
Jumper cables are ultra-light carbon stringers that radiate energy outward from your feet towards the tip and tail. Beyond adding amplitude to your ollies, they also create more snap when powering through turns.
Smooth ride™ internal dampening lets you ride faster through rough terrain with more control and less impact on your body. Negative vibrations and shock are cushioned by the board before making it to your body.
Shape
Pro-Tip™ tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.
The versatile directional flex features increased pop in the tail and a more resilient nose that allows riders to easily maintain control and flow through all terrain conditions.
Whether riding regular or switch, get the freestyle feel of a twin shape with improved float and control through variable terrain and conditions.
Sidewalls, Edges and Base
Triax™ fiberglass offers versatile flex and response for everything from mini to mega shred.
Frostbite Edges beneath your bindings extend out for tremendous edge-hold on hard, icy conditions while remaining ever forgiving in softer conditions.
10:45™ sidewalls: extra meaty, dual angle geometry results in bomber impact absorption.
Dualzone™ EGD™ wood grain positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core for added strength and hold
Durable and highly porous sintered base delivers added durability and superior wax absorption for greater overall glide.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Roc/Cam/Roc/Cam/Roc
    Roc/Cam/Roc/Cam/Roc
This is a blend of camber and rocker, for the best of both worlds: rocker overall, including between and outside your feet, enhances playfulness and float. Underneath the bindings there are camber zones for focused edge-control for added pop and power through turns.
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.

Comments about Burton Process Flying V Snowboard - Blem 2012:

I have snowboarded for several years know, and i'm not the best at reviews but ive used lib tech, k2, endeavor, and burton, and i have to admit this board can do everything! Absolutely no cons, it just takes time to get used to using the board and you're set. I have used the process for 1 year now and i hope to get the newest one when i get some more cash on me

Comments about Burton Process Flying V Snowboard - Blem 2012:

Board is very light, when riding lift my hips don't go numb from all the weight, also easy to carve and turn. I'm not a fan of crazy graphics so this is perfect. First board with cannel system and works great, feels snug and tight. If you have old bindings don't forget conversion kit for free.
