Burton Process Flying V Snowboard 2012

With its hybrid shape the Burton Process Flying V Snowboard is a true all-mountain charger. With the best of everything including a softer flex, Frostbite Edges, the dampening of Smooth Ride™, and the pop of Jumper Cables; the Burton Process has all the ingredients for a stellar day on the mountain. Plus with the camber/rocker combo of Flying V, the Burton Process really floats in the pow, is playful in the park and kills it anywhere you take it.
Flex
Flex rating: 3 (1 soft -10 stiff)
Medium-soft flex means the Burton Process has a great amount of flex for a forgiving ride.
Directional flex features increased pop in the tail and a more resilient nose that allows riders to easily maintain control and flow through all terrain and conditions.
Construction and Core
Super Fly II™ core with Dualzone™ EGD™ features stronger and lighter woods that target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength and reduced weight.
The M6 Channel focuses power through a central connection that acts as a backbone for the board’s internal tech and allows you to micro-adjust your stance width and angles with all binding formats.
Infinite Ride™ assure the board will maintain its flex, pop and feel from day one and for years to come.
Smooth Ride™ internal dampening lets you ride faster through rough terrain and allows for more control and less impact on your body.
Triax™ Fiberglass with Carbon I-Beam™ allows for a versatile flex and response for all types of shredders.
Jumper Cables are ultra-light carbon stringers that radiate energy outward from your feet towards the tip and tail resulting in greater pop and more snap when powering through turns without sacrificing the board’s overall playful feel.
Shape
Flying V™ is a spring-loaded blend of camber and rocker performance - rocker overall for wonderful playfulness and float through pow but with subtle camber zones underneath for focused edge-control and power.
Twin-Like Shape features the freestyle feel of a twin shape with improved float and control through variable terrain and conditions.
Scoop is an exaggerated tip and tail scooping that turns up the edges for a looser, more forgiving feel that adds catch-free fun when riding.
Sidewalls, Edges and Base
Sintered Base is durable and highly porous, with added durability and superior wax absorption.
10:45™ Sidewalls have extra-meaty, dual angle geometry that results in bomb impact absorption.
Pro-Tip™ tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.
Frostbite Edges beneath bindings extend out slightly for tremendous edge-hold on hard, icy conditions.
