Forget the video games; jump headfirst into cold, snowy reality with the Burton Joystick Snowboard and experience the highest performance V-Rocker™ board they make. A super light Super Fly™ core with burly Triax™ glass weave and Carbon I-Beam™ for snap gives the Joystick a life of its own that'll make you want to stay away from the TV.
V-Rocker Continuous rocker between your feet and in front of your feet towards the tip and tail creates catch-free playfulness and improved float from peak to park.
Flex Rating (1 Soft-10 Stiff) 4, A medium flex for easy turning and forgiving freestyle moves
Infinite Ride™ This Burton-exclusive technology allows for maximized pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that with Infinite Ride™ your board will maintain its flex, pop and feel from the first day forward, season after season.
Directional Increased stiffness in the tail with a more flexible tip for easy float and better control in all terrain and snow conditions
Ellip Kicks An elliptical tip and tail shape that promotes pop and improves float and clearance in pow and variable snow
Scoop This exaggerated tip and tail scooping turns up the edges for a looser, more forgiving feel.
Pro-Tip™ A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.
Twin-Like Whether riding regular or switch, get the freestyle feel of a twin shape with improved float and control through variable terrain and conditions.
Super Fly® Core Lightened up and loaded with pop, this vertical sandwich of hard and soft woods saves weight and improves snap and response.
Dual Zone™ EGD™ Engineered Grain Direction manipulates the angles and direction of wood grains in the core for superior edge-hold, response, and durability.
Squeezebox This improves performance through the balance of thicker, more powerful core sections with thinner, more flexible sections. Rider energy is transferred outward from where it originates beneath the feet, energizing the tip and tail while making the board more stable and easily manipulated.
Triax™ Fiberglass Versatile flex and response for everything from mini to mega shred
Jumper Cables Hi-Voltage Ultra-light carbon stringers radiate energy outward from your feet towards the tip and tail. The result is greater pop and snap when powering through turns without sacrificing the board’s overall playful feel. For maximum flight, Jumper Cables Hi-Voltage use carbonated rods for ultra-electrified pop and performance.
Carbon I-Beam This ultra-light carbon backbone increases pop and longitudinal snap.
10:45™ Sidewalls 10:45’s extra-meaty, dual angle geometry results in better impact absorption and durability.
Sintered Fast and durable base that holds wax well, 20% recycled content
Frostbite Edges Edges beneath your bindings extend out slightly for tremendous edgehold on hard, icy conditions. Powerful when you need them, playful when you don’t, Frostbite Edges are hungry for hard-pack while remaining forgiving in softer conditions.

Comments about Burton Joystick Snowboard 2013:
This is a great board. It's such a shame Burton is discontinuing the Joystick. The board is very light and has a lot of pop. It's a joy to ride on groomers or the park.
Comments about Burton Joystick Snowboard 2013:
I really love this board. Rode it at the Burton Demo at N* for two days straight and bought it. I didn't ever think I would buy a rockered board being more of a camber purist. However, it is incredible how well this board holds up at speed for being rockered. At that point I am losing little and gaining a lot: more forgiving, great pow stick, more fun in softer groomer conditions. It is not the same ride at high speed as a camber as you do not load and unload but it is a very fun more surf oriented feel, but again very stable.
