Huge tip. Tons of taper. Big setback. Put it through the Burton Nug Raduction™ process and out comes the original short powder board, the Burton Fish Snowboard. With directional S-Rocker™, a Swallow Tail with elliptical pointy nose and a 75 mm setback, there's no mistaking the purpose of this Fish stick - bypass the malt vinegar and tartar sauce, all you need to add is pow!
S-Rocker™ Entry rocker extends from the nose to under your front foot, then transitions to camber between your feet. Compressing the camber causes the entry rocker to naturally lift the nose, improving float and stability through deep-driving pow turns and variable conditions.
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) 5, A medium flex for easy turning and forgiving freestyle moves
Directional Increased stiffness in the tail with a more flexible tip for easy float and better control in all terrain and snow conditions
Infinite Ride™ This Burton-exclusive technology allows for maximized pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that with Infinite Ride™ your board will maintain its flex, pop and feel from the first day forward, season after season.
Swallowtail with Ellip Nose Kick lets the tail drop slightly in deep snow and adds directional stability at speed.
35 mm taper allows the tail to ride lower than the tip
Pro-Tip™ A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.
Nug Raduction™ Optimizes every element—from waist width and flex profile to sidecut and running length—letting you downsize up to 10cm from your normal board length. Light and lively, easy to throw around, surprisingly floaty, poppy, and stable at speed—Nug Raduction™ will change the way you look at board length.
Directional with Taper Designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop while allowing the tip to rise and tail to drop slightly in deep snow
Super Fly II™ Core Stronger and lighter woods target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength, and reduced weight - further optimized for float in Burton's freeride focused boards, and strength in their park boards.
Dual Zone™ EGD™ Engineered Grain Direction manipulates the angles and direction of wood grains in the core for superior edge-hold, response, and durability.
Triax™ Fiberglass Versatile flex and response for everything from mini to mega shred
Carbon I-Beam This ultra-light carbon backbone increases pop and longitudinal snap.
Slimrail A streamlined, ultra-minimized sidewall design found on the Vapor™ and Fish™ shaves weight without sacrificing edge-hold, strength or rideabiliy.
Sintered WFO Super fast base that retains wax well, 50% recycled content
20-30% Recycled content
Eliminated printing chemicals - uses more eco-friendly inks then traditional printing methods
Gondola Package Setting the benchmark with boards that are lighter, faster, and stronger for more air, quicker turns, and more fun no matter what the terrain or conditions
Burton recommends downsizing 3-6 cm from your regular length.
The Channel Gives you the ability to micro adjust your stance and is compatible with Burton EST™, Re:Flex™ and Disc bindings, as well as bindings from Forum, Drake, Union, Flow, Flux, Ride, and K2 with adapter

Comments about Burton Fish Snowboard 2013:
this board allows me to ride powder so well that it feels like a groomer. Plus, my back leg doesn't get tired since it's so well balanced in the pow.
