Burton Feelgood Flying V Snowboard - Women's - Blem 2012

Burton Shop all Burton
The perfect blend for a perfect day on the mountain; the Burton Feelgood Flying V Snowboard brings the fun and ease back to snowboarding. Featuring Flying V™ that satisfies the blend of snap in camber and the effortless float and control of rocker to create a board in a class of its own. Plus with features like the amazing Sintered WFO base, Lighning Bolts for response, and a women’s specific core; the Feelgood Flying V will have you addicted to V and make it hard to ever go back to camber.
Rocker Type
Flying V™ is a spring-loaded blend of camber and rocker performance - rocker overall for wonderful playfulness and float through pow but with subtle camber zones underneath the bindings for focused edge-control and power.
Flex rating: 4 (1 soft -10 stiff)
Medium-soft flex handles everything on the mountain with a ton of ease and softness. Plus the combination of camber and rocker allows you to press, pop and carve anywhere on the mountain.
Twin flex is perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride that’s equally versatile regular or switch, frontside or backside.
Construction and Core
NEW Women’s Specific True Flex Super Fly II™ core with Dualzone™ EGD™: features stronger and lighter woods to target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength and reduced weight.
The Channel focuses power through a central connection that acts as a backbone for the board’s internal tech and allows you to micro-adjust your stance width and angles with all binding formats.
Triax™ Fiberglass with Carbon I-Beam™ allows for a versatile flex and response for all types of shredders.
Lightning Bolts Hi-Voltage are energy transfer strands that allow the board to be more responsive without making it stiff.
Directional Shape is the most versatile snowboard shape, designed with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while still giving you plenty of float, flow and control.
Pro-Tip™ tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.
Sidewalls, Edges and Base
Sintered WFO base infuses specially formulated wax deep into the pores of the extra-absorbent high-density sintered material resulting in an ultra-durable base that stays wide open all season.
Frostbite Edges beneath bindings extend out slightly for tremendous edge-hold on hard, icy conditions strength.
Infinite Ride™ assures the board will maintain its flex, pop and feel from day one and for years to come.

  • Effective Edge: 1052.2mm (140), 1092.5mm (147), 1137.5mm (149), 1170mm (152), 1195mm (155)mm
  • Terrain: All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Roc/Cam/Roc/Cam/Roc
This is a blend of camber and rocker, for the best of both worlds: rocker overall, including between and outside your feet, enhances playfulness and float. Underneath the bindings there are camber zones for focused edge-control for added pop and power through turns.
  • Flex Rating: Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
