Product Info

Lordy Lord, the Burton Family Tree Landlord Snowboard is a board that is ready to slay it in every condition. Featuring S-Rocker and Burton s Freeride Geometry, the Landlord floats effortlessly in powder while still remaining powerful enough to rail a turn regular or switch. New for the 2015 model, Burton introduced 45˚ Carbon Highlights. These carbon stringers are criss-crossed over the whole board, creating plenty of power through a turn and electrifying pop when you need it. You don't want to be late on rent because the Landlord is ready to lay down the hammer.

Product Details

Rocker Type

S-Rocker™Burton's S-Rocker™ blend has more rocker towards the nose and subtly transitions into a cambered tail. By having more lift in the nose, you get improved flotation while maintaining speed through deep powder turns and ample stability in variable conditions.

Flex

Directional FlexBurton's directional flex snowboards feature increased pop coming from the tail. The nose is less flexible, this allows you to easily maintain control and keep your tip up in pow.

Shape

DirectionalDirectional is the original snowboard shape. It is designed with a slightly longer nose, to concentrate the pop in the tail. This board will give you plenty of floatation, fluidity, and control to rip.

Balanced Freeride GeometryTwin or directional? Balanced Freeride Geometry ends the debate with setback camber and sidecut that are centered on your stance to create a twin freestyle feel when riding flat base. On edge it turns tight and quick with the float and prowess expected from a directional deck.

Pro-Tip™A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.

Taper: 17 mmA tapered shaped mean the nose is wider than the tail, promoting smooth turn entry and exit, stability at speed, and enhanced deep snow floatation.

Core

Dualzone™ EGD™The wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold, and added strength.

FSC™ Certified Super Fly II™Stronger and lighter woods target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength, and reduce weight. Further optimized for float in Burton's freeride focused boards, and strength in Burton's park-focused boards.

Laminates

45˚ Carbon Highlights Hi-VoltageCarbon Highlights optimizes each layer of fiberglass matrix and adds a full tip-to-tail carbon layer to reduce weight and fine tune torsional feel to achieve different ride characteristics. A 45˚ fiber angle provides a more aggressive ride.

Base

Sintered WFOSintered bases are super-fast. Polyethylene pellets are forced together under extremely high pressure. The result is a singular piece of connected pellets with tiny pores across the entire base. Then, Burton infuses a specially formulated wax deep into the pores of this extra-absorbent, high-density sintered base which results in an ultra-durable, smooth and fast base all season long.

Die-Cut BaseBase color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.

Comments about Burton Family Tree Landlord Snowboard 2015:

3 things in response to Olympic Gold up there^^^

    A. Pro's training for the Olympics get flowed gear from their SPONSERS for free.
    2. Any dunce with half a brain knows this is not a park board!
    c. Boards only get warrentied for manufacturer defects, not stupidity.

This board is for skilled, hard charging, big mountain riders. It excels in pow with 17mm of taper and a setback stance. It's got a snappy flex and it nukes on the steeps. If you wanna do gap to board slides buy a rail board. It's pricey but your getting all Burtons high end, lightweight tech. Plus the graphic is rad in person with the carbon grid in the fiberglass.

Comments about Burton Family Tree Landlord Snowboard 2015:

This board is amazingly fast and wants to charge the gnarliest of lines. Fast edge to edge with great hold through turns. The huge nose floats great in deep snow and the balanced freeride geometry makes the landlord fun to rip groomers, regular or switch. A very balanced board for the hard charging freerider.
