Product Details

Rocker Type

S-Rocker™Burton's S-Rocker™ blend has more rocker towards the nose and subtly transitions into a cambered tail. By having more lift in the nose, you get improved flotation while maintaining speed through deep powder turns and ample stability in variable conditions.

Flex

Flex Rating: 6 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)Stiffer flex for power and control but forgiving enough for landing those not-quite-completed tricks

Directional FlexThis versatile flex features increased pop in the tail and a more resilient nose that allows riders to easily maintain control and flow through all terrain and conditions.

Infinite Ride™This Burton-exclusive technology allows for maximized pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that with Infinite Ride™ your board will maintain its flex, pop and feel from the first day forward, season after season.

Shape

Directional ShapeThe classic, most versatile snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while still giving you plenty of float, flow and control to rip any terrain or condition.

Pro-Tip™A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.

17 mm Tail TaperA tapered shape means the nose is wider than the tail, promoting smooth turn entry and exit, stability at speed, and enhanced deep snow flotation.

Balanced Freeride GeometryTwin or directional? Balanced Freeride Geometry ends the debate with setback camber and sidecut that are centered on your stance to create a twin freestyle feel when riding flat base. On edge, it turns tight and quick with the float and prowess expected from a directional deck.

Core

Super Fly II™ CoreDesigned to target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength, and reduced weight, this core is further optimized for float in Burton's freeride focused boards, and strength in park-focused boards.

Dual Zone™ EGD™Engineered Grain Direction manipulates the angles and direction of wood grains in the core for superior edge-hold, response, and durability.

Laminates

Triax™ FiberglassVersatile flex and response for everything from mini to mega shred

Carbon I-Beam™This ultra-light carbon backbone increases pop and longitudinal snap

Sidewalls

10:45 SidewallsAggressive rippers take note. 10:45’s extra-meaty, dual angle geometry results in bomber impact absorption.

Base

Sintered WFO BaseInfusing a specially formulated wax deep into the pores of this extra-absorbent, high-density sintered material results in an ultra-durable base that stays wide open all season in any condition.

Topsheet

20-30% Recycled content

Graphics

Eliminated Printing ChemicalsUses more eco-friendly inks than traditional printing methods

Comments about Burton Family Tree Landlord Snowboard 2014:

As I've gotten older and had kids, I've realized I no longer ride like I used to. The days of parking lot camping to get first tracks are gone and are now limited to heading up with the kids and wife. That said, the landlord treats me very well on my now random days on hill. Forgiving enough to cruise at slow( very slow) speeds with the wife and kids in the morning but once I get the green light to go rip some solo turns the Landlord rules! On groomers it feels like a twin under my feet (burton calls it Balance Freeride Geometry) and if I'm lucky enough to find some powder the board is a dream. The super fat nose with rocker floats effortlessly.
Great board for someone who still rides the entire mountain but searches for powder.
