The Burton Custom Snowboard has been in the Burton lineup for decades and there's a good reason. Simply put, the Custom is the best traditional all terrain board on the planet. With Burton s best construction featuring a Super Fly II® core, Triax™ fiberglass and Carbon I-Beam™, Squeezebox and Pro-Tip™, and pre-conditioned with Burton s exclusive Infinite Ride™, you owe it to yourself to try this snowboarding classic. No matter what terrain you shred, you can rest assured that the Burton Custom will take it in stride.
Camber When talking about powerful turns and poppy precision, camber speaks to the core values of board design. Offering snappy energy for turn initiation and tricks, camber distributes weight evenly over the entire length of the board allowing for smooth, continuous control from tip to tail.
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) 5, A medium flex for easy turning and forgiving freestyle moves
Twin The flex is perfectly symmetrical from tip to tail for a balanced ride that's equally versatile regular or switch.
Infinite Ride™ This Burton-exclusive technology allows for maximized pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that with Infinite Ride™ your board will maintain its flex, pop and feel from the first day forward, season after season.
Pro-Tip™ A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.
Directional Twin The classic, most versatile snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while still giving you plenty of float, flow, and control to rip any terrain or condition.
Super Fly II™ Core Stronger and lighter woods target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength, and reduced weight - further optimized for float in Burton's freeride focused boards, and strength in their park boards.
Dual Zone™ EGD™ Engineered Grain Direction manipulates the angles and direction of wood grains in the core for superior edge-hold, response, and durability.
Carbon I-Beam This ultra-light carbon backbone increases pop and longitudinal snap.
Squeezebox This improves performance through the balance of thicker, more powerful core sections with thinner, more flexible sections. Rider energy is transferred outward from where it originates beneath the feet, energizing the tip and tail while making the board more stable and easily manipulated.
Triax™ Fiberglass Versatile flex and response for everything from mini to mega shred
Lightning Bolts Radiating outward from beneath your feet, these energy transfer strands allow us to make the board more responsive without making it stiff. The Hi-Voltage version features energy transfer strands woven into the fiberglass both above and below the board’s core for better power and response.
10:45™ Sidewalls 10:45’s extra-meaty, dual angle geometry results in better impact absorption and durability.
Sintered WFO Super fast base that retains wax well, 50% recycled content
Diecut Base Color Combinations may vary
Frostbite Edges Edges beneath your bindings extend out slightly for tremendous edgehold on hard, icy conditions. Powerful when you need them, playful when you don’t, Frostbite Edges are hungry for hard-pack while remaining forgiving in softer conditions.
20-30% Recycled content
Eliminated printing chemicals - uses more eco-friendly inks then traditional printing methods
Gondola Package Setting the benchmark with boards that are lighter, faster, and stronger for more air, quicker turns, and more fun no matter what the terrain or conditions
The Channel Gives you the ability to micro adjust your stance and is compatible with Burton EST™, Re:Flex™ and Disc bindings, as well as bindings from Forum, Drake, Union, Flow, Flux, Ride, and K2 with adapter

Comments about Burton Custom Snowboard 2013:
Burton Custom is a nice and solid board. Camber shape allows for good contact with the surface. It does the job done as advertised. The board however, has a "5" flex rating and maybe difficult to maneuver on moguls. Also, I purchased size 160 which comes in black gloss finish. Although, the color is nice it scratches easily with scratches being immediately visible on the black surface.
