Let your aspiring girl ripper chew on the Burton Chicklet Snowboard for a while and she'll come out ruling the mountain. Built with a soft and confidence-inspiring flex and Flat Top profile with Easy Rider convex base shaping, this board is almost impossible to catch an edge on and will have her up and running in no time.
Rocker Type
Flat Top - Rising rider or seasoned pro, keep your game on the level with the NEW Flat Top. A flat profile between the feet means stability, better balance, and continuous edge control. The tip and tail kick up with an early rise outside the feet for the catch-free and loose feeling you’d expect from rocker.
Flex
Flex Rating: 1 (1 Soft - 3 Stiff) - 1 out of 3 on Burton's Kids' flex scale means a soft and forgiving ride that's ideal for learning.
Shape
Easy Rider - A slightly convex base shape combined with soft flex and an aggressive edge bevel for catch-free easy learning
Sidecut
Twin - It's perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride that’s equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. Jib, spin, stomp, and butter with a greater balance of freestyle mobility and cat-like stability.
Core
Fly® Core - Burton's classic tip to tail wood core, constantly improved upon in terms of flex, feel, pop, and strength
Unreal Core - Through the use of a synthetic material specially formulated for strength and softness, the Unreal!core gives the littlest rippers an extra forgiving, easily flexed board to learn and improve on. (Used on 80, 90 and 100 cm sizes).
Laminates
Biax™ Fiberglass - Features a jib-friendly, low-torsional flex and forgiving, park-friendly feel
Base
Extruded Base - Durable and low maintenance; 40% recycled content

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
    Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Flat/Rocker
    Rocker/Flat/Rocker
Rocker/Flat/Rocker is another variation on the rocker theme that seeks to provide a little more hard snow edgehold and pop than full rocker while retaining ease of turning and float. Performance is between a fully rockered board and a flat board.
  • Shape: True Twin
  • Flex Rating: Soft
    Soft
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
