Tank-armor construction with a heart of pure freestyle: the 2008 Burton Blunt Snowboard. Dripping with more steelo, strength, and skate-like stomping power than boards twice the price, the Burton Blunt is a low-maintenance deck that beats the crap out of anything in sight. Drop in on that 20-stair handrail at your local high school and think more about watching the footage in the parking lot instead of selling your video camera to the pawnshop. Mellow flex, ballistic durability, the entry level freestyle Burton Blunt was born to rage wherever there is snow, and makes it easy to take your tricks to the next level. The Burton Blunt Snowboard is the best value in freestyle boards, period—letting you kill the park, not your cash flow.

  • Lightspeed Vision Base — Easy maintenance for a fast ride even without waxing…and with Vision you get graphics that pop in photos!
  • Fly Core — Lightweight and lively, Burton’s classic tip-to-tail wood core improves board feel, flex and durability. This might be your first board, but ride assured:the entry level Fly Core is still lighter and stronger than the cores on most companies’ top-shelf boards.
  • Biax React Fiberglass — Mellow and forgiving response:perfect for taking new tricks to the next level. Creates forgiving torsion and board feel without compromising edge hold.
  • Negative Core Profile — Thinner sections of core between the bindings provide softer flex and torsion, perfect for park, pipe and rails. These boards excel over a variety of snow conditions and terrain.

Comments about Burton Blunt Snowboard 2008:

Even though this board is recommended for the park ive spent a lot of time freeriding and had no problems. Ive only had one season on it though. But I think it will do just fine again in the upcoming season!

Comments about Burton Blunt Snowboard 2008:

This board is really great, I only waxed it once and been 6 times without a problem even after riding boxes and rails all day. I have never caught an edge and with the Burton Customs you almost have too much edge control because of the toe cuff bindings. I has very good stability because I have the wide board. The top sheet is stronger than I expected because it's not laminated. Very good pop when you need to make that gap you thought was closer.
