Product Info

Just because you want high-performance and cutting-edge technology doesn't mean you want an insanely burly board. The Burton Antler Snowboard is that; future technology in a more relaxed package. Designed with a relaxed ride, the Antler has crazy pop and energy without feeling like you just signed up to ride a gnar-nado outta Kansas. For the riders who want to shred their own yellow-brick road in a more playful manner, the Antler is a quick and snappy freeride board that holds it down all over the mountain.

Product Details

Rocker Type

Flying V™A blend of camber and rocker performance, Flying V™ offers the best of both worlds. Rocker overall, including between and outside of your feet, enhances playfulness and float. Underneath your feet, subtle camber zones focus edge-control for crisp snap, added pop, and powerful turns.

Twin FlexHaving a twin flex indicates that your board is perfectly symmetrical in flexibility from tip to tail so you gain a more balanced and predictable ride.

DirectionalDirectional is the original snowboard shape. It is designed with a slightly longer nose, to concentrate the pop in the tail. This board will give you plenty of floatation, fluidity, and control to rip.

Scoop Pro-Tip™Burton's Scoop feature combined with Pro-Tip™ achieves a catch-free ride in the park, on the groomers or in the backcountry. This design exaggerates the tip and tail by turning up the edges creating a playful and forgiving ride.

Pro-Tip™A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.

Dragonfly™ CoreOver 500 independent laminations, each individually oriented within the core, result in superior weight-savings, strength and energized response.

Multizone EGD™In four separate zones, the wood grain is perpendicular to the core adjacent to The Channel - the area from which a rider's power emanates - for ultimate strength and edge control

Squeezebox HighEnergizing rebound in the board's tip and tail, Squeezebox High adds carbon to create the ultra-high performance snap, pop, and response demanded by elite riders

60˚ Carbon Highlights Hi-VoltageCarbon Highlights optimizes each layer of the fiberglass matrix and adds a full tip-to-tail carbon layer to reduce the weight and fine tune torsional feel to achieve different ride characteristics. A 60˚ fiber angle creates a highly maneuverable and playful feel.

Dual Guard RailsEngineered as a defense against destruction, Dual Guard Rails upgrade durability, add dampening, and amp up visual appeal in the sidewall dimension. High-grade TPU provides cushioning while extremely durable polycarbonate increases the sidewall's strength.

Sintered WFOSintered bases are super-fast. Polyethylene pellets are forced together under extremely high pressure. The result is a singular piece of connected pellets with tiny pores across the entire base. Then, Burton infuses a specially formulated wax deep into the pores of this extra-absorbent, high-density sintered base which results in an ultra-durable, smooth and fast base all season long.

Die-Cut BaseBase color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.

Additional Features

Infinite Ride™Burton-exclusive technology allows for maximum pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.

Binding Compatibility

The Channel™Gives you the quickest, easiest way to mount your bindings with the most stance options possible: Take control of your stance and your board like never before, micro-adjust your width and angles with ALL major binding formats including EST®, Re:Flex™, and Disc. M6 hardware means it's compatible with all major binding companies, making it a choice for any rider.

Comments about Burton Antler Snowboard 2015:

Well I've been a die hard Mervin fan for me entire 1.5 year snowboarding career (60 times a year so far)

I've tried 5 different mervin boards and as good as they are, this board is better.

I think it resembles the TRS the most. It's VERY maneuverable, poppy, and the most FUN board that I have every ridden. I have heard people complain about burton flying V edges hold. I haven't had any problems yet, but I haven't ridden on very icy conditions yet. I don't see it being a problem though.

I don't charge the mountain hard all day. But I've gotten it up to about 45mph for far without a hint of chatter, and it felt just as stable as the CRC mervin boards that I rode last year.

If you like an all mountain board with a fun/freestyle playful feeling. This is for you.

I'm also a techy kind of guy that likes companies that are trying to innovate and push eh sport further. I think Burton is that company. Some call it marketing, some calling it innovation.

    5 Stars for me!
