Bataleon Violenza Snowboard - Women's 2011

No other board does what the Bataleon Violenza Snowboard does. Thanks to the amazing TBT combining forgiveness with performance the Bataleon Violenza Snowboard will let you progress like nothing else. Bataleon doesn’t tech down their women’s boards, instead they deliver a board that is as good as its male counterparts but with a touch of added flex. Soft enough to be perfect for female riders while still providing enough stiffness to shred any type of terrain. You'll be rippin' so hard on the Violenza that soon you'll be doin' laps around the boys.
Flex
Flex rating: 3.5 (1 Soft-10 Stiff) The FREESTYLE TBT is the most all-around Triple base shape that will improve your riding in any kind of terrain. With all the advantages of Triple Base Technology, this shape is especially optimized for freestyle with fast and easy edge to edge hold.
Construction and Core
Impact zones, the good wood core, and poplar birch have sidecut active hardwood enforcement along the sidewall as well as extra reinforced impact zones in the binding areas. Tri-ax laminates over the wood core with Bi-ax under the core creates an easy flex with lots of feel.
Base
The Extraduded 2000 base is easy to fix and can take a good beating. Wax it for more speed.
Sidewalls and Edges
All Bataleon boards leave the factory with a hand tuned custom stone grind finish.

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Freestyle
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Camber
    Camber
Camber is the traditional profile for snowboards, and still popular among high-level park and pipe riders because it offers maximum energy and pop. A cambered board has a smooth arch underfoot and touches near the tip and tail when unweighted; when the rider’s weight is added, it provides a long, evenly pressured running surface and edge.
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
