Bataleon Undisputed Snowboard 2013

Bataleon Shop all Bataleon
The Bataleon Undisputed Snowboard is the high end of all high end freeriding/powder snowboards. Constructed with a Reactor Core and Tri-Ax Laminates, you're sure to get the most precise ride of your life which is critical while freeriding. Combine that with the Sintered Base and you'll have the fastest and most precise snowboard you've ever ridden. Really strut your stuff this year with the Bataleon Undisputed Snowboard.
Rocker Type
Triple Base Technology (TBT™) - The side bases have gradually increasing angles starting from flat in the binding area, to maximum lift at the widest points. This makes the board forgiving when ridden flat, but still super grippy when put on the edge. Combining a full tip to tail classic camber with a rail to rail concave, it blends the looseness of a rocker shape board with the pop and response of camber. The unique thing about TBT™ is that even when the rider's weight is pushing down on the board the edges stay lifted. On edge the camber is loaded ready to pop you into your next turn. Meanwhile the edge is fully engaged with a solid power distribution along a smooth edge curve.
Flex Rating (1 Soft – 10 Stiff) - 7, perfect for all-mountain riding and powder
FREERIDE TBT™ - Optimized for all-mountain riding, the Freeride TBT™ has a narrow center base for fast edge to edge transfers. Increased TBT™ angles in the nose side bases create super floating powder wings. The middle flat is set back for putting more power under your back foot.
Reactor Core - Poplar core with hardwood enforcements along the sidewalls lets you deliver your turns with precision and power.
Carbon Enhanced - Added Carbon stringers save weight while adding strength and pop.
Tri-Ax Laminate - Triaxial laminates over and under the core deliver precision in your riding.
Sintered Base - With great wax absorption that is as tough as nails, this base comes with factory wax infused. Wax your sintered base regularly to get the most bang for your buck.
Edge Bevel - All Bataleon boards leave the factory with a 2-3˚ edge bevel for an ultra smooth ride straight out of the plastic.
Lightning Edge - Enables you to carve with more feeling and precision
Binding Compatibility
Party Pattern - A 2x4 insert pack makes every time you put your bindings on a party. Wide stance range with fine tuning
Backseat Inserts - These extra inserts allow you to drop your stance all the way back so you can keep riding on those deep, deep days.

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Freeride
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
Freeride snowboards are designed for the rider that spends most of the day off groomed runs and in backcountry terrain. They typically have a stiffer flex and are ridden in longer sizes than freestyle snowboards. Freeride snowboards often feature a directional shape that is designed to perform optimally in one direction.
  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber/Rocker
Rocker/Camber/Rocker shapes seek to give you both hard-carving edgehold on firm snow from camber underfoot with enhanced turnability and float in powder from the rockered tip and tail. This profile is increasingly popular for freeride boards designed primarily for soft snow.
  • Flex Rating: Stiff
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
