Bataleon The Jam Wide Snowboard 2011: This board is the Swiss army knife of snowboards for aggressive riders. Stiff enough to point in through big mountain lines, stomp cliff drops and drop into 22 foot pipes- yet responsive enough to hit the park. The patented FREESTYLE.TBT shape makes The Jam go rail to rail so fast it’s like ADHD sword fighting. It pops so hard it’s like stepping on firecrackers and when you are floating that big kicker line you will be happy it comes with enough camber to take any landing and make you stomp it like a man.
Flex
Flex rating: 7 (1 Soft-10 Stiff) The FREESTYLE TBT is the most all-around Triple base shape that will improve your riding in any kind of terrain. With all the advantages of Triple Base Technology, this shape is especially optimized for freestyle with fast and easy edge to edge hold.
Construction and Core
Impact zones, the good wood core, and poplar birch have sidecut active hardwood enforcement along the sidewall as well as extra reinforced impact zones in the binding areas. Quadrax laminates over and under the core deliver precision to your riding.
Base
The Synthered 3000 base is fast as f*ck with great wax absorption that is tough as nails.
Sidewalls and Edges
All Bataleon boards leave the factory with hand tuned custom stone grind finish.

    I like this board which is not what I would have said the first day with it.. with the base give yourself about a day to get used to it but when you dial your own style into this board it responds very well. It was a good buy and would do it again. Ps. I had never tried TBT and was sceptic but if you haven't tried it i encourage you to give it a try. only reason not 5 star it takes a day to dial in and might frustrate some people (but really it isnt the boards fault it's yours :)
