Bataleon The Jam Snowboard 2010: You don’t need to worry about the 2010 Bataleon The Jam Snowboard getting the funnies when you point it down. The Jam is so responsive it’s like having your finder on the trigger with the safety off. Just think it and it will happen. With this kind of Jedi mind/body/board connection, you would be excused to think that the Force is strong in this one. Truth is, it’s all about space age Triple Base Tech. The 2010 Bataleon The Jam Snowboard is light years ahead of the pack with serious future snowboard dynamics, combining the best of positive camber’s responsiveness with the best of triple base concave shaped nose and tail.

  • Flex and Rider Style:Flex Rating: 7 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff). Freestyle snowboard that is intended for freestyle riding, whether that may be in the park, a staircase in the city, or backcountry pow diving.
  • Construction and Core:Wood (Poplar/Birch) with tri-ax over the woodcore with Bi-ax under the core creates an easy flex with lots of feel. Bataleon’s Triple Base Technology (TBT): The key lies in the dynamic base split into three separate riding bases front and rear of the bindings. It allows for normal camber over the entire length of the snowboard which gives stability at high speeds, support at landings and it distributes the rider’s weight and pressure evenly along the steel edge. At the same time, the Triple Base lifts the edges progressively towards the nose and tail and takes the aggressiveness away from the widest parts of the snowboard, but gives you all the edgegrip you may wan

  • Base:Synthered 3000 is cheetah-fast. Great wax absorption, tough as nails.

Comments about Bataleon The Jam Snowboard 2010:

The triple base technology is amazing, it improved my riding immensely. Carving with this board is amazing, it is really fast, and really stable. I liked it so much that I convinced my girlfriend to buy a Bataleon board (she loves it), and then I went on to get yet another one for park riding. Can't wait until next season!

Comments about Bataleon The Jam Snowboard 2010:

Good board, took a little bit to get used to the loose feeling of the TBT base. Feels like you need to lean in just a bit more to get an edge. TBT saved me from a few face-plants by not catching an edge. Fun to ride fast in glades where you need to change direction quickly, fun in the park with jumps. Not a rail ninja so don't know about rails, seems a bit stiffer than the banana's that the kids are all about nower-days.

Comments about Bataleon The Jam Snowboard 2010:

Fast. light. stiffer than a park board. Carves better than I expected. will hold an edge and you can torque it tight. I am 5'7'' 155 so the 157 mm is slightly bigger than I need or want. Find myself with way too much board in moguls.
I hit rails with it. SMoke big jumps. go really really fast with it no problem.

        It is stiff(ER)
Pictures down't do the paint job justice. I originally thought the board was going to be kinda flammin. But I now love the look. get a lot of compliments on the MTn. I would recommend this board especially if your taller than I am.
