Flex
Flex rating: 5.5 (1 Soft-10 Stiff) The FREERIDE TBT shape has the flat part extended further back, with complimentary setback for the kind of riding where you work that back leg. Bataleon also put more uplift in the nose than in the tail to enhance floating on powder and deep, hard turns.
Construction and Core
The Good Wood Core is FSC certified so it is made with wood taken from sustainable sources. Tri-ax laminates over the wood core with Bi-ax under the core creates an easy flex with lots of feel.
Base
The Recycled Base is made of out recycled base material that is grinded up and compressed to solid fresh base that is good for nature. Bataleon recommends using soy wax on this one.
Sidewalls and Edges
All Bataleon boards leave the factory with a hand tuned custom stone grind finish.
