The Bataleon Global Warmer Snowboard is anything but a 'Green' board. The Global Warmer features added carbon stringers which are bad for nature, but sure increase the amount of pop, so its okay! This board is loaded with high tech features such as the Park TBT profile, a sintered base and Lightning edges, making this a top-shelf park board. Able to turn a hardcore vegan hippie into a die hard shredder, the Bataleon Global Warmer Snowboard is destroying the world one board at a time.
Triple Base Technology (TBT) – Triple Base Technology divides the nose and tail area into 3 parts: 1. The left sidebase for turning left. 2. The center flat middle base for going straight. 3. The right sidebase for turning right. Combining a full tip to tail classic camber with a rail to rail concave, it gives the looseness of a rocker shape board with the pop and response of camber. On edge, the camber is loaded and ready to pop you into your next turn. Meanwhile, the edge is fully engaged with a solid power distribution along a smooth edge curve.
Flex Rating: 3 – An overall medium-soft flex, catered to freestyle riding. 3-4-3. Slightly stiffer waist versus the tip and tail. Great for pressing, sliding, and urban jibbing.
Twin – Completely symmetrical geometries and flex from tip to tail
Park TBT – Park TBT is great for park riding and jibbing, with flat center base widths and lengths in between JIB and TWIN TBTs. It retains the trapezoidal profile of the JIB TBT boards for legit presses but adopts a slightly narrower flat base section. This allows PARK TBT to retain many of the jib specific benefits on boards that are usually slightly stiffer with longer contact length between the feet. These boards are hence more stable at high speeds. The TBT remains symmetrical on the nose and tail for the same ride switch as forward.
Core Core – Poplar core with hardwood reinforcements along the insert rows. This increases the board's core strength and channels stored energy to deliver more pop.
Bi-Ax Laminate – Bi-ax laminates over and under the wood core include fiberglass layers aligned in two directions at 45 degees to the edges. This creates an easy and forgiving flex, which allows you to really feel the terrain.
Carbon Enhanced – Everyone knows carbon is the hot stuff right now. Super strong, super light and super dope. Carbon stringers under the wood cores in Bataleon boards save weight and work in extension to add strength, reinforce targeted sections and focus pop depending on their alignment to the fiberglass.
Sintered Base – Fast! Great wax absorption and as hard as nails. These bases come with factory wax already infused. Top it off regularly to get the most out of the base.
Lightning Edge – Thinner lightning edges enable you to carve with more feeling and precision, and they weigh less.
Extra Layup – The Horizontal Carbon Stringers improve your pop and reinforce the binding area while still allowing for smooth presses.
Party Pattern 4 x 2 – The 4 x 2 / 22 pattern offers maximum precision for your binding's position with 22 inserts for a large total stance width range.
