Bataleon Fun.Kink USA Edition Snowboard 2010: Based on Bataleon’s funnest of fun snowboards, Bataleon introduces the 2010 Bataleon Fun.Kink USA Edition Snowboard. The dynamics of this snowboard were suggested by Bataleon’s USA team and are especially tuned to their style of riding and terrain. A wider stance due to a set of extra inserts makes this the ultimate rail/box/street killer.

  • Flex and Rider Style:Flex Rating: 3.5 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff). Freestyle snowboard that is intended for freestyle riding everywhere from the park to a staircase in the city or backcountry pow diving.
  • Construction and Core:Wood (Poplar) with tri-ax over the woodcore with Bi-ax under the core creates an easy flex with lots of feel. Bataleon’s Triple Base Technology (TBT): The key lies in the dynamic base split into three separate riding bases front and rear of the bindings. It allows for normal camber over the entire length of the snowboard which gives stability at high speeds, support at landings and it distributes the rider’s weight and pressure evenly along the steel edge. At the same time, the Triple Base lifts the edges progressively towards the nose and tail and takes the aggressiveness away from the widest parts of the snowboard, but gives you all the edgegrip you may want at a

    its an all around good board, although like anything has its pros and cons. it does chip easily but preforms well in all scenarios. the board could use some more flexability, but overall is a great board

    Great board, have wanted to try a bataleon since i discovered them and I am very happy. This is one of the best boards ive ever ridden if not the best. The triple base tech is great, its almost impossible to not land airs. Havent had it back country yet but it seems to float.

    Versatile stick in most conditions on the mountain. Has a tendency to fold a bit in heavy tracked out snow due to soft flex profile, but I am very happy with it's performance all mountain. NOT the stick for the high speed corduroy carving slasher. This stik is heaps of fun... butters/olles effortlessly. I love TBT NOT HYPE at all. I rode Lib btx for a year and went back to the pop of camber/TBT and I love it

      I love this board it's the best. When I got it in the mail i was kinda bummed about the bottom graphic because it wasn't tie dye, but once i rode it the color of the base didn't matter. it rides really well anywhere on the mountain.
      the stance is so nice and perfect. it's got good amounts of flex and pop and it's fantastic. i ride all weekend, every weekend, and it pushed through until the end of the season. it will probably last me another winter, maybe two.
      i can easily say it's my favorite thing i own. it's a great board, the best i've had, and rides beautifully.
      buy it.
