Bataleon Snowboards Triple Base Technology Video
Colors displayed in alternate views may not be available
Bataleon Enemy Snowboard 2011: This is hands down the sickest board Bataleon has ever made. It comes as tech as it gets with all the trimmings. Crazy amounts of carbon, the tech-est of cores, fastest base material available and an edge system enhanced with titanal make the Bataleon Enemy Snowboard feel like you’ve got nothing under your feet. But when you look down and think about it for a second you have a Neolithic ultra charged mega beast waiting to slice its way into the next piece of mountain. The future is now, so bring it.
Flex
Flex rating: 7 (1 Soft-10 Stiff) The FREESTYLE TBT is the most all-around Triple base shape that will improve your riding in any kind of terrain. With all the advantages of Triple Base Technology, this shape is especially optimized for freestyle with fast and easy edge to edge hold.
Construction and Core
The Lite Wood Core and Poplar Lite combine for a light core that is still strong enough to stand up to break tests. Tri-ax laminates over the wood core with Bi-ax under the core creates an easy flex with lots of feel. Carbon stringers have been added to save weight while adding strength while extra Kevlar stringers increase the already crazy responsiveness.
Base
The Nano Hai Lite Speed base is a bit too much really, normally only used on race boards. If you keep this base waxed it’s the fastest base on the hill.
Sidewalls and Edges
All Bataleon boards leave the factory with a hand tuned custom stone grind finish.

Comments about Bataleon Enemy Snowboard 2011:

My son had been talking about Bataleon's Enemy board repeatedly. I told him that it is a gimmick snowboard and overpriced. Little did he know, I had already tested it out at one of those demo days.

For his birthday this past weekend, I surprised him with a private cat tour and two new Enemy awaiting in the cab. One for me of course, didn't want him to hold an unfair advantage. Good to know he still can't keep up with his old man on the slopes!

Comments about Bataleon Enemy Snowboard 2011:

This is a really great snowboard, but it is not a park board. I just bought a new Enemy and was loving it. Its fast, lightweight, lots of pop. But 2 weeks after i got the enemy, i hit a jump and landed a bit on my nose. The board just gave out and broke. Now i contacted Bataleon and they told me that this board is not meant to be ridden in the park. Now ive tried to tell evo.com that they are marketing this snowboard under the wrong category. Neither Bataleon nor evo.com will give me a refund or credit.

Comments about Bataleon Enemy Snowboard 2011:

I've had several Burtons, a few Lib Techs, and this ET Classic is by far the best all around board I have ever rode. It made me a better rider because it's forgiving and fast. It gave me a lot of confidence to push my limits and now I'm just a better rider. I've been riding about 19 years and I'll be buy another Bat. board and keep buying them until something blows me away again like this board did. If you've never rode a board with TBT it's a strange feeling at first but once you get it, you'll be wondering why all boards don't have it. 360's are so easy you'll pop em all day...and manuervering is insane. I laugh at my buddies that try to pull the stuff I do and get slammed.

Comments about Bataleon Enemy Snowboard 2011:

Most quality craftsmanship I've personally seen in a board. However I wish I'd had the chance to ride it before I ordered.

I believe this board is stiffer than the newer model, and it takes some adjustment. I've also been having trouble digging into hard pack conditions. I ride east coast and usually in the evenings. Most of the time it just won't grip well, so I have to be very aware of what I'm doing. Wish I would've grabbed the BSOD or something with magnetraction.

Overall still an amazing board if you understand it's limitations.

Comments about Bataleon Enemy Snowboard 2011:

This board is absolutely amazing. It's stiff, incredibly damp, and unbelievably fast (faster than any other board I've ever ridden, even with factory wax). I haven't tried it in powder, yet, but it grips ice and shreds groomers so deep that the dirt will show through. It's a bit stiff for jibbing, but the TBT is very forgiving on landings. Highly, highly recommended.

This is the only board which can stand my extreme tracks without breaking. Though it gets chipped by the end of season. Wish I could buy a new one every season!

I own the 2010 version which is basically the same.I love everything about this board even the speed but my other two boards seems to have the faster base.A word of caution,be careful where you get it tuned, they'll ruin the triple base and make it flat. The last time I had it tuned, they did some damage to the triple base so the base is not as "triplely"anymore.

Comments about Bataleon Enemy Snowboard 2011:

I rode a Jam previously and that's how I got hooked by TBT. I wanted another Bataleon, and figured I'd give this board a try. It rides fantastic, holds on in turns in most conditions. Not sure why, but the Bataleons I have ridden hold on to ice like no other.

It was a bit more work riding this board in powder compared with the softer Jam. I would recommend stepping the bindings back a tad if the going gets deep. If you want a powder board, I would choose something different. For most other mountain riding though, an awesome choice.

I'm considering an undisputed next so I have a selection!
