The Bataleon Bill Stewart CT II Snowboard is bringing the fun back to snowboarding. Mr. Stewart had a moment of pure brilliance back in the 80s, and crafted a surf-inspired snowboard that will be known by our children as "God's Pow Board." Turns out Bataleon was onto Mr. Stewart's discovery and a collaboration for the centuries was born. Fusing a Reactor Core with a Kevlar Fleece, the CT II is suited for hard-charging while a Pow 3BT profile mans the ship through chowder, crud, slush, pow and cord. Finished with a space-age sintered base, the Camel Toe II earned the flame stripes that grace the topsheet and is definitely one of the fastest surfers on the mountain. Guaranteed to bring fun to a mountain near you, the Bataleon Bill Stewart CT II Snowboard is the future of freeriding.
Pow 3BT – These boards are tapered, have setback stances, and feature the narrowest centerbase section and the most uplift of all the Bataleon shapes, making them the most surfy of the bunch. The nose has more uplift angle and overall area for maximum float, and the tail has a mellower uplift angle and smaller area for better backseat riding.
Flex Rating: 5 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) – This is a medium flex board hitting a balance between freestyle play and forgiveness with control, response and support for harder riding. Great for all-mountain riders who want to do it all!
Reactor Core – Dual density full wood core composed of poplar with beech running tip to tail along the rails. This fortifies the board's edges against impacts and delivers stronger, more precise edge hold and turns while also promoting reactive pop along the edges.
Bi Ax Laminate – Bataleon bi-axial or two-way fiberglass is a 90-degree weave of fiberglass placed under and atop the core to strengthen and add pop to the board. Fiberglass is placed at a 45-degree angle rather than a 90-degree angle to the edge so you get better overall board feel, flex and edging. Bi-ax layups create a really maneuverable board, one that you can almost steer with your feet.
Kevlar Fleece – Used with the same purpose as the composite fleece, but Kevlar is lighter, stronger and even more powerful with energy transfer underfoot and edge to edge. Increases board strength and power transfer.
Sintered Base – Hard and fast. Sintered base material is tough stuff and its microscopic pores retain wax nuggets for a slick slide. To get the maximum benefits from a sintered base it needs to be waxed regularly. Bataleon finishes theirs with a proper hot wax before they leave the factory.
Die-Cut Base – Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
