Arbor Westmark Snowboard 2012

A multidimensional rocker design for park-oriented riders who utilize the whole mountain; the Arbor Westmark Snowboard delivers a higher level of pop, jump, spin, slide, and press performance, while providing the park-level durability you demand.
Flex
Made especially for park riders but with a medium-soft flex so you aren’t limited to one area. Pop, jump, spine, sidle all day long without compromising durability
Construction and Core
Wood Power Ply works like a 3rd layer of fiberglass to structurally enhance the board for added return and improved durability
Built with an ultra thin protective top foil made using 30% caster bean based bio-plastic
Medicine Core from 100% FSC certified, sustainably produced poplar
Shadow Flex core is a slight tapered thinning of the core profile between the bindings to improve turn and spin initiation; tracking in mixed conditions, on the flats, and during landings; and performance on rails, boxes, and jibs
Shape
True-twin shape
System Rocker
Parabolic Rocker Profile is a true rocker design based on parabolic arch that allows the rocker to gradually dissipate as it reaches the tip and tail
Unblended Progressive sidecut uses Arbor’s unblended tri-radial sidecut technology or “Grip Tech”
Sidewalls, Edges and Base
A higher molecular weight, wax-infused sintered base that provides unmatched durability and speed with Rocket Base
Rhythm Rails made from blend of ABS and urethane to deliver durability, a clean, acoustically damp ride, and solid edge performance.
Recycled steel edges are built with hardened steel made using 60% recycled steel - provide maximum edge performance

Comments about Arbor Westmark Snowboard 2012:

I've been boarding for about 5 years. I enjoy messing around on the little stuff in the park. Out of the park, I like to mess around with the lumps and dips. I try to find a little air where I can, within my ability level. At 25, I'm an old head in boarding years. So, I can't really comment on how it works for those hard core park guys. But the decent guys that like to mess around a little, I found that the board was fun. It had some good pop. I have no trouble carving around. I thought the reverse camber might hinder it, but I felt like I was just as good or better at carving on this board as my previous regular camber board. Also, I ride PA mountains which are icy and crowded. Understanding that, my board is an enjoyment and the only worry I have is when I see a beginner in front of my that has no clue where they're going on a confined trail... Speed, my friends couldn't keep up with me. I glided along as they skated. Maybe it's just fresh, but last time I was out it glided smoothly and efficiently.
