Arbor Westmark Snowboard 2009

Smooth and soft, poppy not floppy – just how a park board should perform when called to duty. Thanks to the bamboo in the core, a directional-twin shape and dialed flex, the Arbor Westmark has a buttery feel for spin, slide, and press initiation and control. Fire it up.
Other Features
Sintered base, progressive tri-radial sidecut, Iso 200 Sidewall (ABS/urethane blend), inlayed carbon fiber strut
Mid-wide, directional twin shape: Park and pipe performance.
CORE: Mystic I, Arbor’s high-end park and street core.
CONSTRUCTION: Built from grade A poplar and reinforced with a bamboo axel that is designed to improve durability and pop without effecting spin, butter, or press performance.

Specs

  • Terrain: Freestyle
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Effective Edge: 119.0 (155), 112.6 (158)mm
  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
    Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Rocker Type: Camber
    Camber
Camber is the traditional profile for snowboards, and still popular among high-level park and pipe riders because it offers maximum energy and pop. A cambered board has a smooth arch underfoot and touches near the tip and tail when unweighted; when the rider’s weight is added, it provides a long, evenly pressured running surface and edge.
  • Core/Laminates: Bamboo-reinforced poplar
  • Warranty: 2 Years
  • Stance: Centered
