To mark Arbor's 20th anniversary of pioneering the wood-topped snowboard, they've introduced the Arbor Cosa Nostra Snowboard. Sustainably sourced, the Cosa Nostra has a Premium Inlaid Power Plywood topsheet made of re-claimed trimmings left over from years of snowboard making. Featuring a slightly set-back Parabolic Rocker, days of plowing through deep heavy snow will feel like surfing through champagne powder. Arbor's Cosa Nostra is completed with a directional shape and a medium flex to give riders the response and edge they need to manhandle any off-piste terrain. *This is a factory blem board that may have slight cosmetic damage.*
The System Rocker | Reclined Parabolic Rocker – Arbor's System Rocker design provides a surfy ride, encourages a natural float and cleaner tracking. This playful low-profile deck has a parabolic arc that progressively reduces the amount of rocker towards the tip and tail. Due to this arc, the outside contact points are close enough to the snow to engage when maximum edge performance is critical - high speeds, fully loaded turns and big landings.
Medium Flex – The most versatile flex in the game for peak performance all over the mountain.
Directional – A slight stance setback combined with a directional shape provides you with a surfy ride in deep snow. Directional boards also give riders ample control and stability when dropping through chutes or landing big airs at high-speeds.
Arrowhead Tip – Exceptional float for powder-specific pursuits.
Grip Tech Sidecut – Grip Tech is a tri-radial sidecut design that is not “blended.” Natural shaping intersections, that in the past were eliminated, have been transformed into heel-and-toe contact points that provide a direct, more ergonomic way to grip the snow when additional control is needed. The extra contacts also form pivot zones that make turning easier and more natural.
Highland Core – Arbor's highest-end core, made from a blend of estate-grown Poplar and Paulownia to provide the lightweight performance ideal for backcountry and powder.
Carbon Strut – Running down the centerline of the deck's wood core, the carbon fiber layup not only acts as a reinforcement but retains the board's easy turn initiation and energizes the longitudinal flex for improved performance.
Mixed Glassing – Extra strength, extra performance thanks to Arbor's Triax over Biax lay-up.
360 Rails – The sidewall fully wraps the circumference of the deck to deliver an incredibly tight tolerance for improved board life and durability.
Sintered Base – A higher molecular weight provides added durability and speed.
Die-Cut Base – Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Premium Inlaid Power Ply – The Power Ply works like an added layer of fiberglass. During construction, the natural wood or bamboo fibers are turned into a composite layer inside the board.
