When you graduate from riding the parks, take a step outside the boundaries on the Arbor A-Frame Snowboard. The A-Frame is a pow hungry machine, featuring a traditional camber design to keep you locked and held in on a deeply carved line while providing you with powerful control in the steep chutes. The A-Frame is loaded with features such as Carbon A-Frames, Shaman Core, and High-Load Glassing to give give you the perfect balance of power and control. Crisp, animated edge control with amazing stability at high speed, the A-Frame is your ride into the real world.
Rocker Type
Camber - A mellow convex rise from the contact points of the tip and tail inward with an apex at the midpoint. A rider's edge hold and pop derive from the pressure exerted and expelled when camber is flexed under a rider's weight. This downward pressure - the flattening of camber-initiates lively turns and provides continuous edge contact with snow.
Flex
Medium-Stiff Flex - A slightly stiff flex to provide you with excellent aggressiveness and response for big-mountain riding.
Shape
Directional - Directional boards are designed to be ridden predominately in one direction. Stiffer in the tail and softer towards the nose to help maintain stability while carving at high speed.
Sidecut
BL3 Progressive Sidecut - Blended tri-radial design, improved turning, initiation, and stability.
Core
Shaman Core - Blend of renewable Paulownia and FSC Poplar wood, ultra-lightweight and durability.
Carbon A-Frames - Connect the contact points to your feet for next-level edge performance.
Laminates
High-Load Glassing - Triax over triax lay-up, ideal for on-edge performance: Steeps, carving, speed.
Sidewalls
Bamboo Power Walls - Sustainable bamboo sidewalls deliver impact durability, edge performance, and crisp return.
Base
Rocket Base - A high molecular weight, wax-infused sintered base, unmatched durability and speed.
Edges
Recycled Steel Edges - Max edge durability and performance, made with 60% recycled hardened steel.
Topsheet
Bio-Film - Hi-gloss film, 30% bio-plastic, protects top while replacing biologically harmful clear coat.
Inlaid Power Ply Topsheet - Sustainably sourced structural wood, delivers improved return, durability, and weight.
Binding Compatibility
2 x 4 14-Pack Insterts - Provide a wide stance range and micro adjustability; max stance 24.4" / 62 cm.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Freeride
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
    Freeride
Freeride snowboards are designed for the rider that spends most of the day off groomed runs and in backcountry terrain. They typically have a stiffer flex and are ridden in longer sizes than freestyle snowboards. Freeride snowboards often feature a directional shape that is designed to perform optimally in one direction.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Camber
    Camber
Camber is the traditional profile for snowboards, and still popular among high-level park and pipe riders because it offers maximum energy and pop. A cambered board has a smooth arch underfoot and touches near the tip and tail when unweighted; when the rider’s weight is added, it provides a long, evenly pressured running surface and edge.
  • Shape: Directional
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
