Comments about Vans Matlock Snowboard Boots 2011:

I tried this boot up at the Mt Hood demo program over the summer. I wasn't sure at first of it's lace system, half Boa/half velcro strap, but it actually worked really well!

I was able to use the Boa to tighten the lower half of the boot, and the power strap upper I left a little looser, so I could butter and tweak grabs a bit more. I was def feeling it, and I've always been more of a lace boot/speed lace guy. This was a good bridge product for me to try Boa.

I'm picking up a pair of these from the store this season. It was my fav ridden boot of the summer. Stoked!

Comments about Vans Matlock Snowboard Boots 2011:

I got a chance to put a few days on a pair of the Matlocks and I am fairly impressed. The combo of the BOA system with the power strap allows for some good customization to your boot fit. The mid flex is good for riding all over the hill. My only criticism is that they feel a little bulky compared to some other boots out there.
