Flex Rating (1 Soft – 10 Stiff) - 3, soft and comfortable, perfect for all day riding
Fit
Pleasure Cuff - Is designed to allow for the cuff of the boot to adjust to all range of calf sizes providing a comfortable and forgiving fit.
Full Instep Articulation - Allows for the upper and lower zones of the boot to flex independently creating a fluid forward motion and minimizing shell distortion.
Liner
TriFit X Thermal Liner - A dual-density, heat-moldable core with Asymmetrical X-Cage for nailed in heel hold. The liner also features closed seam, brushed fleece puff cuff, open cell foam interior cushioning layer, Comfort Flex toe box, and low-volume sole.
Lacing System
BOA® Coiler - A tongue-mounted single reel system that utilizes a spring loaded lace spool to automatically retract the lace cable slack for quick and efficient closure. Different lace guide radiuses are used to optimize closure force in specific areas of the boot.
Internal Web Harness and OTW Lace Lock - Attached to the inside shell of the boot the Web Harness provides liner closure for better fit and prevents liner movement inside the shell to insure secure hell hold while the OTW Lace Lock maintains the desired tension.
Footbed
V2 Footbeds - Feature V-Tech high-rebound EVA foundation with injection-molded multi-arch support. The Dual-density metatarsal and heel impact relief pads, plus airflow perforation and anti-odor treated topsheet make it a true performance footbed.
Sole
VansLite Outsole - One-piece, injection-molded EVA sole unit for featherlight feel with Vans rubber compound positioned in strategic highwear traction areas for added grip and durability. The 3/4 –wrap heelclip increases torsional rigidity for added stability and turning response. The ImpactSorb® dampening technology in the heel allows greater comfort in rough terrain.

    Beginner-Intermediate
    Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.

    Soft
    The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
