Vans Cirro Snowboard Boots 2014

Vans Shop all Vans
The Vans Cirro Snowboard Boots are a serious rider's premium choice for big mountain performance and adjustability. The adjustable flex rating means that you can dial these boots to suit your boot / quiver needs. This boot has all the technology you need with Vans signature style, and with the endorsement of a very cool partnership with POW, your money will go to a good cause too.
Flex Rating: 6-8 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - Adjustable flex with the Vans Flex Control System. Lets you dial in your own preferred flex rating with removable internal tongue stiffeners on both medial and lateral sides. Remove and add as you like depending on conditions and how sore you are.
Medial instep flex zone - Allows for flex in the instep
Internal Strap Sync - Vans has connected the top strap from the liner to the inside shell of the boot, providing a more secure fit and better forward lean / toeside response.
Custom-X Thermal Liner with Dry Inside by Nano-Tex® - Dual-density, heat-moldable core / Adjustable C-pads for custom fit / Integrated ankle harness / Exterior overlay support cage / Direct connect hook-and-loop (similar to VELCRO) prevents liner movement / Closed seam micro suede cuff and tongue / Dry Inside provided by Nano-Tex® for moisture-wicking / Soft foam interior cushioning layer / Comfort flex toe box / Low-volume sole
Dry Inside by Nano-Tex® - No one wants to ride in cold, wet boots so Vans has added great moisture-wicking technology. Dry inside, provided by Nano-Tex®, wicks moisture away from the skin and eliminates that heavy, damp feeling. Dry Inside dries quickly, allowing the fabric to retain its natural softness.
Lacing System
Vans BOA® Focus Closure System - Two reels operate three specific zones of closure for the ultimate in custom fit adjustment. Unlike other Focus options, all instep components have been eliminated from the Vans system to allow for the addition of asymmetrical articulation, providing additional flex to the medial side while maintaining lateral support and response.
V4 Cork Footbed - V-Tech 3 density EVA foundation / Compression-molded multi-arch support shape / Slow-rebound EVA base for superior shock attenuation / Co-molded cork and recycled EVA heat-moldable arch support cradle / High-rebound EVA forefoot and heel impact relief pads / Airflow perforations / Dry Inside-treated topsheet by Nano-Tex®
V-Hex Outsole with ImpactSorb® - Majority UltraCush midsole construction for lightweight performance / Aggressive perimeter tacky rubber hex-lug pattern for maximum traction in wet and slippery conditions / TPU arch cradle for additional support / Full rubber wrap foxing / ImpactSorb™ dampening cassette in the heel / Skate-style silhouette for low-profile board feel

Protective coating in high wear areas

  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Flex Rating: Stiff
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
  • Lacing System: Boa®
  • Warranty: 1 Year
