If what you're looking for is a tough boot that won't let you down, then the Salomon Synapse is the right pick for you.
Flex
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - 8, perfect for freeriding and speed
Liner
Full Custom Fit - Heat moldable, multi-density foam throughout the entire boot to form perfectly to your feet
Power Liners - Known as Salomon's "King of Support" the Power Liner keeps your heel down and secure. With two removable ankle supports you can customize this boot anyway you want.
Wash & Wear - You can wash it like a t-shirt. New materials and specific construction of liners doesn't require glue, thus making them easy to wash.

Power Lock Pro - Salomon revamped their standard lacing tech with a bombproof criss-cross locker on the tongue and anti-catch hooks on the upper part of the boot.
Sure-Lock - Sure-Lock keeps your lacing tight and fastened all day long. Whether you're shredding double blacks or cruisin' down greens, your lacing will always be secure.
Footbed
Mystic Footbeds - The only antimicrobial footbed in snowboarding that will increase blood circulation to keep your feet snug, warm and will prevent fatigue, Mystic's bamboo based powers will help keep your feet smelling fresh while your crusin' down the mountain.
Conform'able Footbeds - Pre-shaped footbed with stabilized and patented arch flex support that ensures improved pressure distribution
Sole
Spring Soles - Dual density EVA with thin rubber side stabilizers deliver dampening and transmission on the hardest landings.

Specs

  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Flex Rating: Stiff
    Stiff
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
  • Lacing System: Quick-Pull
  • Warranty: 1 Year
