Salomon Pledge Snowboard Boots 2012: Feel the need for three ground-breaking technologies in one boot? Yeah, we do too. The Salomon Pledge Snowboard Boots bring the heat and bring it fast with the centering Balance level 4 liner, 3D Motion Flex, and Powerlace Pro wrapped all into one sleek silhouette.
Flex Rating and Fit
The Salomon Pledge Snowboard Boots have a flex rating of 7 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff) making them a responsive boot that still has a good amount of cushioning for your feet. This is a progressive snowboard boot for riders looking to take their skills to the top.
Construction
3D Motion Flex is insane technology at its best giving you 360 degree mobility of the ankle area for maximum tweakability all while maintaining support.
Authentic construction that absorbs chop and shock, so your feet love snowboarding as much as the rest of your body.
The Spring Outsole has rubber enhanced metatarsus pods that go through the full length molded EVA to contact directly with the liner. The result is precise transmission from foot to board for no wasted energy transfer.
Liner and Lacing
Balance 4 removable liner has come to rid the world of hammering your toe or heel on the ground before you ride; instead this liner helps you to center your feet. These liners center everything by having your lace them with one pull, adjusting the floating forefoot and heel harness to increase your balance.
Powerlace Pro lacing system is one of the first auto locking systems in snowboarding. To tighten you simply pull once through the center of the boot tongue to lace and lock your boot
Special Features
Conformable footbed that is pre-shaped with foot stabilization and patented arch flex support for improved pressure distribution.

Comments about Salomon Pledge Snowboard Boots 2012:

Ride all over the mountain, like bumps, trees, wide open powder filled bowls, steeps, jumps, park a little. This boot is very responsive. The first time out nearly wrecked because board responded so quickly. The sole of this boot is very flat and stiff and goes toe to heal. Some boots have a toe lift that does not allow as much pressure on the toe edge. The lasing system is one of the best, very fast, holds tension all day, can be tight at different places (ankle can be tight while upper boot is loose). The stiff sole gets very good traction and works very well for post holing hiking up steep hard pack snow. Other then some small amount of stitching coming out around the toe of the boot and it is not the warmest boot, it creates the funnest riding on a snowboard have had in years. Would buy again and recommend to buy. PS have 40 days in boot before stitching came out. PSS My running shoe size is a 11.5, Salomon size is 9.5 or 27.5 mondo. My ski boot is also a 27.5 so this is correct. Might check size to be sure, and a custom foot bed could also improve this boot if a person has a high arch.

Comments about Salomon Pledge Snowboard Boots 2012:

This boot is super comfortable! Very warm! Feels great, and very responsive. Give you that great ankle support. A bit heavy and a bit bulky but the good kind where you feel it compensates with all the foot support. It's good to have a wide board with this boot. The only complaint I have is with any sock I've tried with this boot, about 3-5 runs down the mountain the sock rides down the boot and feels uncomfortable where you have to adjust the sock. Nothing serious or deadly. .. Great boot though
