I love the look and comfort. They're also easy to walk in which is a plus when you're walking around during your lunch break from the slopes.
The only real negative was getting my feet into the boots if I didn't wear tight boarding socks. I also had some difficulty taking my feet out if I didn't unlace the inside laces. Maybe I just need to get used to them and play around with the best way of getting my feet in and out.
All in all I can't complain!

I've got some bad frostbite so I'm still curious if the 2010 or 2011 Optimas fit a little less bulky for board response than the 2009 (running 1 sz 2 big). Like the 2010 F22's but they are not nearly as warm and insulated...

The boots react well. I've broken one of the laces on my third trip. I have not yet contacted Salomon, but hope that they have a way to fix it.

Been on the mountain about 5 times with these boots now, they're super comfy but they do run about 1/2 size larger. They're also really wide.

I ride Vail, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Steamboat - these boots have taken me through 2 feet of powder, fast groomers and through tight trees. I hit rollers and small jumps but I'm not a park rider. The boots are warm, comfortable, easy to lace and stay tightened. They are medium-stiff with some front flex, great for changing mountain conditions and different types of riding.

Only 4 stars cause i haven't had a chance to ride in them yet, but i think they'll make it to 5 when i do. Fit my giant feet like a glove, look sharp and feel solid. Not 100% sure about the lacing yet, hard to get tight in the right places, but will probably become easier when boots get worn in - my old salomons did.

awesome boot. flex is awesome. they're great for narrow feet, but i get them 1.5 sizes too small so they fit better and feel less packed out.

I swear by Salomons. Had the Ivys like 3-4 years ago, packed out and bought The F20s. I had a 10 in Ivys, a tad too big once they packed out. Thought, I would get a 9.5 in the F20s, but the low-profile last is about a 1/2 size too small. Had to get rid of them for fear of losing my toes. Went up to the Optimas for this year, at a 9.5 still. The Optimas are built on the normal boot last, and the 9.5 fits perfectly (I usually wear a 10). I haven't had them on snow, but of all the boots I've tried on they are the most comfortable from the start. Easy on/off and the lacing system is smooth. Definitely bulkier than the F series boots, but probably a hell of a lot warmer. Snug, comfortable fit, nice heel hold, and good flex (enough, but not too much). These babies should last me a long time. Can't wait to get on snow with them.

I have been really happy with the Solomon Boots. I bought these for the compatibility with a heating system only to realize the heating system cost a few hundred dollars. Other than that I've been very happy with Solomon Boots.

These boots are awesome. I've been using the Salomon Ivys for the past few seasons, but they're way too soft and packed out after less than 30 days (can be rolled into a ball). These boots are much stiffer (it's good) and increase performance. Plus, I do not think they'll pack out as quickly (only been on them for about 5 days so far).
