My first pair was used racing snowboardcross in approximately 12 races (20 days on snow). They have no life left.

I used my second pair for 15 days primarily in powder and Whistler freeriding. They deteriorated quickly after this point.

These boots performed top notch until they sharply deteriorated. They have a narrow last, often referred to as a european foot vs a wider american foot, and thus fit me perfectly. I would recommend these boots to anyone who has trouble with swimming in correctly fitted boots. Burton Driver X's are a similar product but a much wider foot.

If you ride more than weekends I recommend getting at least 2 pairs. I went through 3 sets in 70 days on snow.

Chose this boot after reading multiple reviews on multiple sites (no local demo site to give it a try). I'd been riding an old pair of Nidecker Project X boots which were nice and stiff, but lacked zone adjustability. I own a pair of Burton Hail boots which were great for comfort and flex, but lacked the "immediacy" of the Nidecker boots when going for speed/carving. These feel great and give the sense of feedback from the board that I want. Definitely not a park boot. The lacing system is easy to use and allows simple separation of the upper and lower sections.

These boots not only look great, but I believe them to be the best boots on the market at the moment. Would not hesitate to recommend them to a friend.
