Salomon Ivy Snowboard Boots - Women's 2011 – The Salomon Ivy Snowboard Boots have a whole new look for ’10-’11 season. Subtle herringbone design around the calf and tongue complements the comfort fit balance liner and the all new Mystic footbed for boots that not only look amazing, but feel amazing too.
Flex Rating and Fit
Flex Rating: 6 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff)
The Salomon Ivy Snowboard Boots feature a flex rating of 6 for slightly stiffer boot that still stays a bit forgiving.
Construction
The Mystic Footbed (Level 2 in the Ivy boots) the only antimicrobial footbed in snowboarding that uses reflexology to relieve tension and improve blood circulation for happy feet during the day and all through the night, and Custom Fit foam is heat moldable and allows you customized adaptation in the shin area
Liner and Lacing
The Salomon Dialogue Snowboard Boots feature a Liner Balance level of 1; Salomon’s Liner Balance features 4 levels of construction based on the same design philosophy that displaces liner lace pressure from the top of your foot, around the key holding areas of the arch and above the heel while tightening the liner lace to wrap the ankle both firmly and comfortably around, rather than on top, of the foot. Powerlace Pro, in the meantime, gives you fine-tuned tightening at unmatched speeds.
Special Features
The responsive Cut outsole is loaded with thick EVA for bomb drops and unexpected cement landings, providing pillow soft protection and maximum comfort. Toasty Toes gets some fur on your feet that’s warm, functional and oh so comfortable.

Comments about Salomon Ivy Snowboard Boots - Women's 2011:

      These are great boots!

I had a much older version of the IVY and it was time to replace them. I shopped around for other brands but nothing fits my foot as well as the IVY.

The new boot has a higher cuff so it's much more comfortable on the calf. This boot is also much stiffer than my older boots, it felt weird at first but I have much better control then before.

I used to have sore calf muscles and thigh muscles after a full day of riding on my old boots. I feel nothing after a day in the new IVY's. The boots do all the work!

They are super soft and comfortable!

The only thing I don't like is that the pull cord is supposed to hook on the side of the boot and it feel off quite a few times.

Had been wearing rentals up until I purchased these. Super comfortable and warm. Run true to size, but will feel a bit snug at first.

Comments about Salomon Ivy Snowboard Boots - Women's 2011:

I've been snowboarding for 13 years and as far as snowboarding boots go for women Salomon are by far the best. Way better than Burton. The boots actually perform well and keep my feet warm. I find that snowboarding gear for women often lacks in performance and functionality because the companies (Burton) focus on style, which is what sells unfortunately. However, Salomon boots do not lack in functionality/comfort. Sizes are a little different so you must try them on before buying. I'm usually a 7 but I went down a full size.
