Product Details

Flex

Flex Rating: 6 (1 Softest - 10 Stiffest) A stiff flex for all-mountain freeriding but soft enough for the park

Fit

Self GelDynamic fit foam that conforms to the shape of your foot throughout the day. As your foot changes the foam changes. Self Gel uses this foam throughout the ankle area of the liner.

Liner

Fusion ExhaleYep, the Exhale Liner has lungs. Mesh channels and one-way valves flush out humidity by using the natural motion of your feet to circulate and channel air out of your liner and boot. The result? Dry feet. Pretty neat, eh?

Lacing System

Wrap LockJust when you thought lacing your boots couldn't get any easier, it did. Three power panels and a fused liner form to your foot in one single pull of the lace. In one motion your foot is wrapped in a low-profile, running shoe inspired boot.

Footbed

Mystic FootbedThe only antimicrobial footbed in snowboarding that will increase blood circulation to keep your feet snug, warm and will prevent fatigue, Mystic's bamboo based powers will help keep your feet smelling fresh even when you're working up a sweat on the mountain.

Sole

AeroThe Aero outsole began its life as a super lightweight running shoe sole for riding. An extremely lightweight design, impact absorbing capabilities, with an ultra thin construction provides perfect board feel.

Additional Features

Easy-InMaking it easier and faster to get into your boots and onto the snow, Easy-in features a gliding patch that is placed at the entrance of the liner for superior heel glide capabilities.

Comments about Salomon F3.0 Snowboard Boots 2014:

I got these boots for all around use. I ride usually around 100 days a season and needed a boot that could last the season. Ive had problems with most of my boots in creating a pressure point just behind the ball of my foot. these boots fixed this problem with a fantastic fit and wide range of adjustability. They also have softer sections in area where there are common pressure points. The lacing systems are very easy to operate and will be just as easy to fix if something goes wrong though I dont forsee any issues. the attached liner and outer make for a very solid feeling boot and allow for a greater range of adjustments, where you can leave the liner lace a little loose or whatever and it makes little difference on the ride. These boot are said to pack out less than normal boots due to this setup so its recommended that you only downsize by half size however my DVS shoe size is about spot on. Overall this is a fantastic boot and a must try for people with pressure points.

Comments about Salomon F3.0 Snowboard Boots 2014:

I got these boots because the description says they are some of the lowest profile boots on the market. I wear size 11-12 depending on brand, so I wanted to get some snowboard boots that were a little smaller on the outside to reduce dragging my heel and toe.

When I got the boots I compared them to my old boots and they were the same size outside. It could be because my old ones were also solomon (I forget which model...) but they were still the same size.

I got size 11 and the fit my feet snugly, I think they would be very good fitting once broken in a bit but I returned them because I wanted smaller boots on the outside. They weren't particularly comfortable either, there seemed to be a lot of pressure points. I'm not sure if those would go away when they are broken in but they were there new.

They are an OK boot overall, but nothing amazing about them that made me keep them. My main reason for getting them was to get a smaller outside of the boot and they didn't do that so that's why I returned them.

FYI I ended up exchanging them for a pair of Burton Ambush boots in size 11. The Ambush boots felt JUST too small for my feet. I could get them on, but they were extremely tight. The size 11 Ambush was a good 1" shorter than these boots and I liked the fit and lacing system a lot better, despite being too small. I sent those back too for being too small, and I'm currently waiting for size 11.5 Ambush boots.

One thing is for sure, EVO makes it pretty painless to do returns and exchanges. It takes a lot of the worry out of buying something that you need to try on from an online retailer.

These boots are one of the best boots of owned. I just bought my second pair. They're stiff, responsive, comfortable, easy to lace, light weight, and low profile. And they make you turn real good.

Comments about Salomon F3.0 Snowboard Boots 2014:

I've only wore them a few times, so they are still being broken in. Overall, the memory foam feels pretty great and locks your heel in nicely. I think I had them a little too tight for the first day, but they should loosen up with wear.
