Salomon F20 Snowboard Boots 2012: Comfort and control like no other, the Salomon F20 Snowboard Boots are low profile, lightweight, and have a long lasting flex. Special features on this boot include the Self Gel comfort in the liner and the Mystic 3 Footbed that make your feet as happy to be snowboarding as the rest of you.
Flex Rating and Fit
The Salomon F20 Snowboard Boots have a flex rating of 6 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff) making them a responsive boot that still has a good amount of cushioning for your feet. This is a progressive snowboard boot for riders looking to take their skills to the next level.
Construction
Fusion construction is low profile and eliminates all toe and heel drag
The Mystic Footbed 3 is the only antimicrobial footbed in snowboarding that increases blood circulation, prevents fatigue, and embodies natural healing from the bottom of your feet to the top of your head. Salomon likes to say the Mystic Footbed is “Pseudoscience in your socks.”
The Copper outsole features the shock protecting ADIPRENE™ compound for maximum toe feel and an impact-absorbing heel cushion. This outsole is also 40% lighter, so you can be quicker on your feet and on your board.
Liner and Lacing
Powerlace Pro lacing system is one of the first auto locking systems in snowboarding. To tighten you simply pull once through the center of the boot tongue to lace and lock your boot.
The LCG (Lower Center of Gravity) Fusion liner is engineered to connect the liner and upper materials for the best fit out there. This liner also features Self Gel dynamic fit foam that conforms and changes with your foot.
Special Features
The Salomon F20 Snowboard Boots have an Integrate Active Tongue, PU inserted, that customizes your fit so that every time you tighten your laces your boot flex will stiffen. Getting a perfect fit is easier than ever.

    Comments about Salomon F20 Snowboard Boots 2012:

    These replaced my old Salomon Dialogues. The Dialogues were, numerically, a half size smaller, but actually had a larger footprint. I had to drop to smaller binding with the F20.

    I love the F20's smaller footprint (no more frankenstien) and how light they are. Also, the dampening off jumps is exceptional.

    Other than reduced weight, I don't particularly like the "fusion" liner. It's not removable, so if it gets wet, it takes twice as long to dry. This liner also has less padding, so it's not as comfortable or as warm as Dialogues.

    I had high hopes for the "mystic" footbed, but it put my heels too low in the boot, causing pain in my achilles tendons. Swapping to a set of Superfeet helped by about 90%.

    Other manufactures are now making similar boots with no inner liners. And boots are getting softer again, so you can really tweak it out yo!

      I moved up to the F22's this season from my previous Salomon Dialogue boots. The Dialogues were by far my favorite boots... and these ones have blown them out of the park! They have the perfect fit with a mid flex that will handle any hardcore freeriding and still flex for crails and seatbelts in the park. The footprint is a full size smaller than other boots which helps with toe drag, and means you can fit in a smaller binding!

      I highly recommend these boots! I have ZERO complaints and a bunch of my friends wear em and swear by them!
