Comments about Ride Hera Boa Coiler Snowboard Boots - Women's 2016:

I got these because I thought the boa system is similar to my old Ride Cadence. But they are not. My old Boa is actually TWO separate boa systems, one for the top and one on the instep. This one is a single boa from top to bottom. Just that there is an additional boa which controls the part where you would normally have a tongue. It pushes that part towards your heel so your heel is locked in when you ride. A good feature. What I'm not sure of is not that. I'm afraid as I ride, the one system boa will tighten so that all the tension will be at the toe area. That hasn't happened yet but it has happened to other one boa systems I have. We will see. So far, it is a comfortable boot and holds the foot in a supportive way. One thing I can say: after 4 days of riding, I already feel that the liner has packed out a little. Very unusual, considering my other Ride boots didn't pack out for years. I would probably recommend the Ride Hera. It is less stiff than the Ride Cadence, and lighter.

I wore these for the first time at Mt. Bachelor over the weekend and I loved them! They were the perfect fit and no heel slippage.
