I wear a Size 10.5-B/Narrow width in a dress shoe. I did a great deal of research on narrow width snowboard boots and elected to try the 2011 K2 Darko's, because of the fit technology that they offer; Internal BOA Lacing(that is part of the boot, not the liner) and Thermal Liner Moldability. I regret to report that, even in a Size 10 with proper "toe-rub", I was not able to attain a "zero heel lift" fit.

The problem with the Darko's is the same as with most snowboard boots, the heel cup is so very rigged that no amount of adjustment causes the heel cup to pinch in at the heel. The Internal BOA Lacing did a good job of moving my heel into the heel pocket and keeping it shoved back. However, because the heel cup is rigid, tightening the BOA Lacing did not cause the cup to pinch in on the Liner. Hence, I still had heel lift. I was aware of the problems created by a rigged heel cup and had hoped that the Darko's would have more heel cup flex.

I had the BOA tightened to the end of it's limit, too. It ran out of adjustment, full compressed the liner to the point of discomfort and still allowed heel lift.

I had also hoped that the traditional lacing system would give me a better ability to sinch in the toes. However, the boot is so stiff that I could not get closure of the toe pocket.

I am greatly impressed with the technology incorporated into the Darko's. Even though they didn't fit me, I highly recommend them.

These boots are awesome. When I first put them on my toes touched the ned too much, but the BOA liner put my foot into place with a nice tight fit. Keeps heel life to a minimum with how tight you are able to crank the BOA. BOA only on the liner, and traditional laces on the boot, which I like....

I have a size 9-1/2 wide and a size 9 length so a little more width and the boot would be perfect. Other than that I am very satisfied. Easy to adjust, love the way the Boa straps down the heel (I have small ankles and heel)

The boots look and fit amazing the boa system is great for that perfect fit. They are a little to stiff out of the box, but give them a season and they will be butter.

Those boots looks sick, and most definetely they are comfortable, internal boa system is easy to use and you can tight it the way you want.

Great boots. Super warm and comfy and the liner lacing boa system is awesome. No heel lift happening with the boa on the interior.
