Comments about Flow The ANSR Boa Coiler Snowboard Boots 2013:

I purchased the boot on sale. Decent boot at that price. I wear a size 11 US street shoe so I ordered the ANSR Boot in 11 as well. The boot was too big length wise. My toes didn't brush up against the front of the boot by far. So I sent them back in exchange for a size 10.5. This time they fit much better bit still a little room between my toes and the front of the boot. I knew once they packed out they'd be even roomier. So maybe a 10 might've fit fine length-wise, but not sure how they would've felt in terms of width.

I have a wide foot and the boot fit fine width-wise. Of the other boots I tried on at other stores (Salomon Faction BOA, Ride Anthem BOA and Thirty Two Lashed), the Flow ANSR had the least amount of tension at the calf, which was good because I have thick legs. The fit was generally comfortable out of the box, yet nothing special or impressive. The heel cup wasn't form fitting at all. The outsole isn't too substantial, which made me wonder if it ever might separate from the boot.

Ultimately, I ended up returning the boots and going with the Salomon Faction BOA. The out of the box fit and feel is quite impressive and the way the boot confirms to my foot is quite impressive. Night and day difference between the Faction and the ANSR.

The ANSR is a decent boot at sale price (not worth it at full price) and would probably make the average person happy, especially when used with a Flow binding. But if you're looking for total comfort and a boot that conforms to your foot, then go with the Salomon Faction.

I bought these boots for my son as a replacement of the same boot. My son loves how lite these boots are. The boa system is fast allowing less prep time to get to the lift.

Comments about Flow The ANSR Boa Coiler Snowboard Boots 2013:

I use these for park and normal all around shredding. Great boot, best park boot I've had. There's not forward lean in the boot but is compensated for by using flow bindings. The boa tightening is hit and miss, you can get them to tighten evenly threw the whole boot it takes some practice, but honestly its not a problem when it's looser at the top of the boot, it just gives more flex.

Comments about Flow The ANSR Boa Coiler Snowboard Boots 2013:

Awesome boots for the price. Best part - The boa allows for on-the-mountain adjustments, which is key for me because my feet and lower leg get cramped even in the best fitting boots, and I usually just need to pull my feet out for a second to feel better. Boots are pretty warm too, although its not the top-notch materials making up the liner, so don't have high expectations. Most importantly, they go with my green jacket, and isn't that what its really all about when I'm flailing down the mountain like a wilted leaf in a wind storm?

Comments about Flow The ANSR Boa Coiler Snowboard Boots 2013:

It's a good boot especially if you're riding flow bindings (as I do). The boot has the typical downsides of the boa lacing system: You can't adjust the lower and upper parts seperately. For me the upper part is a bit stiff but it's nothing that I'm concerned about. Also the boot will soften over time. No temperature issues and great fit.
