Flex
Flex Rating 9 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) – A very stiff boot for a powerful, responsive feel.
Fit
DuPont® Surlyn Highback – The highback contributes to the durability and stability of the boot. Combined with additional reinforcements, the highback also aids in dictating its stiffness.
Custom Flex Construction – Provides a low profile and an especially responsive ride. Enables the rider to adjust the support and responsiveness of the boot. This design also features ankle lacing.
Slytech® 2nd Skin XT Foam – Featured in the tongue for an ergonomic fit, plush ride, and unrivaled protection.
Liner
TF (Thermo Flex) Liner – 100% thermo-moldable liner that is extremely lightweight and highly insulating. This liner is heat-formed to your foot. It is placed in a special oven that is heated between 90-110°C. While cooling, the liner is fitted to your foot and will retain its form. Consequently, we recommend you have your liners professionally molded to guarantee the perfect fit.
Lacing System
C3 Lacing + Boa® – The Boa® System allows you to customize the heel zone's fit.
Powerstrap – By securing the calf in place, the Powerstrap adds additional support to a boot's lacing system.
Sole
Remedy Outsole + Midsole – When it's time to explore, tap the Remedy outsole. Although based on a classic design, this beefy sole has a streamlined silhouette. In addition to reducing weight, this allows crampons to more closely hug the sole. A fade-out profile also minimizes toe and heel drag. Spikes in the toe area offer unrivaled traction while sharp edges aid in traversing. And thanks to a self-cleaning design, the thread is quick to shed snow and ice.
Additional Features
Waterproof Construction – Precise stitching and a sandwich construction ensure water can't penetrate the boot's shell. After all, a dry foot is a happy foot.
Sympatex® Membrane – Provides protection from the elements with waterproofing and breathability of 25000g/m². Plus, it's environmentally friendly and recyclable.

Very Stiff The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
