So I only have 2 days out on these, BUT
the first day was a day of mostly skinning backcountry on a splitboard. From the time i put them on, using the superfeet insoles I've had since working at a south tahoe shop, they've felt perfect. No break in period at all. Off the shelf, they're not the stiffest boots in the world, but as soon as you engage the hook behind the liner to the shell, they're rock solid. My previous boots were northwave kevin jones's, followed by nitro darkseid's which were really really flimsy, and then a horrible combination of the two, to try and capture what i liked about the NW and use it in the nitro.

There's zero heel lift in this think. I wear a 12.5 street shoe, I bought a 29.0 rough diamond and its true to size. The only "bad" thing is that there is no insole in these, which isn't necessarily bad, because everyone should be sportin' some sort of semi custom insole, they make a world of difference.

Bottom line - solid, real comfy, real warm, pretty darned light, super on-the-fly quick lace adjustment THAT DOESNT SLIP OVER TIME, ugly graphics, a great all day boot.
