DC Terrain Snowboard Boots 2013

The DC Terrain Snowboard Boots are the most progressive and innovative boots yet. With all new Full Grain Leather, you get both better performance and a killer looking boot. You no longer have to worry about sweaty feet with DC's new Aerotech™ Ventilation System, which keeps your feet warm and dry. The DC Terrain Snowboard Boots are the Cadillac of all boots.
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - 9, The stiffness of this boot makes it ultra responsive and assures that it will never let you down when you need it most.
Molded Backstays - Ergonomically engineered backstay for a perfect support and great binding integration.
3D Tounges
Ultimate Articulation Technology - Consisting of an internal neoprene ankle that provides solid heel hold without restriction or bulk, the liner and shell work seamlessly to allow the rider to flex freely side-to-side.
Alpha Liner - This liner offers the Aerotech system for breathability and ventilation. Directional mesh locks the heel in place, and Anatomical J-Bars allow for a more custom fit. The liner also features Aegis coating that eliminates bacteria and fungus that cause odors and deterioration.
Internal Ankle Harness - Provides additional ankle support without the hassle of laces
Lacing System
Traditional Lacing - Traditional laces allow you to ride as loose or tight as you want.
The Winch & Boa® Lacing System - The new Winch system provides support at the in-step for additional heel hold after you have finished lacing your boot. The Boa® closure system targets the sweet spot for superior heel hold and on-the-fly adjustability.
Direct Power Lacing - Strategically placed overlays in the boot’s upper provide more power and leverage for optimal shell closure.
Wrap Lock - This allows you to secure your laces from slipping by simply wrapping around the hardware. It can turn your traditional lace boots into a zonal closure system by locking the lace at key points.
UniLite™ - This sole provides traction, durability, dampening and cushioning, while drastically reducing the weight of the boot. The snow shedding traction designs also prevent snow from building up and clogging bindings.
Impact G™ - An impact absorbing system that does not change properties under varied temperatures or climates
Additional Features
Full Grain Leather - This gives the boot a premium look and improves performance. These boots will last longer and continue to form to the rider's foot and give a truly personalized fit
Aerotech Ventilation System - Molded vents in the shell and liner work in unison to release unwanted moisture away from the riders foot, keeping your feet warm and dry.

  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Flex Rating: Very Stiff
    Very Stiff
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
  • Lacing System: Boa®
