DC Judge BOA Snowboard Boots 2012

All rise for the feature-packed and versatile DC Judge BOA Snowboard Boots. A custom fit and softer flex make this boot a frontrunner in both the comfort and versatility department. The DC Constrictor Closure System is ensured to provide you with easy entry and exit as well as a tight fit that can be easily adjusted. The ruling on the Judge Boots is out and they have been found guilty for being the sweetest boots on the market.
Flex
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - 7, mid-high flex rating allows the boots to be soft enough to provide optimal comfort and stiff enough to maintain responsiveness and durability.
Fit
Articulation - Internal neoprene provides solid heel hold without bulky and restrictive laces while the liner and shell work together for a seamless system, allowing the rider to flex freely.
3D Tounges
Molded Backstays
Liner
Alpha Liners
Aerotech Ventilation System - Molded vents in the shell and liner work in unison to release unwanted moisture away from the riders foot. This proprietary system will keep your feet warm and dry.
Directional Mesh - Provides easy entry to the boot, then locks the heel in place.
Anatomical J-bars - Anatomical and asymmetrical support to keep the foot in a neutral position.
Aegis™ - Eliminates bacteria and fungus that cause odors, and product deterioration.
Lacing System
Constrictor Closure System - Provides the perfect blend of support, heel hold, and comfort to perform in any condition. The closure overlays securely hold your foot while allowing the boot to flex smoothly and consistently.
BOA® - Allows for fast and easy tightening to the optimal comfort level
Sole
UNILITE™ with Impact G™ and Push Zone - Provides traction, durability, dampening, and cushioning all while drastically reducing weight. UNILITE™ soles feature distinct traction patterns for ascending, descending, and skating around with the Push Zone tread pattern. The snow shedding designs also prevent snow build up and clogged bindings. For the ultimate in reduced weight and comfort, Impact G™ is a proven impact absorbing system that does not change properties under varied temperatures.
Additional Features
Full Grain Leather - Offers a premium look, but also improved performance and durability. Impregnated with silicone, DC boots will last longer than boots made with synthetic materials while forming to the rider’s foot for a personalized fit.

Comments about DC Judge BOA Snowboard Boots 2012:

This boot is amazing. I wear a size 10.5 to 11 in street shoes. My old boots are the 09/10 judge which have held up well and still fit tight. I know there is a lot of hype around burton and salomons low profile outsoles. I tried on and compared the burton imperial, f20, ride insano, and DC judge side by side. I didn't take exact measurements but the judge was just as short if not shorter than the other boots. The heel hold in the judge is simply amazing. No other boot comes close to it. It has a tight comfortable performance fit. These other boots felt sloppy in the heel pocket compared to the judge. I wasn't planning on upgrading to the 2012 judge, however the new boa design for the lower part of the foot is really nice and noticeably more comfortable. I was able to comfortably squeeze into a smaller size. These have the alpha liner which is nice. Dual zone boa is the way to go. Metal wires don't stretch or loosen up as the day goes on, and they are super easy to tighten.
