Burton Grail Snowboard Boots 2010: The new Grail is as miraculous as creation itself. A slimmer profile eliminates toe drag and weight, while the fully flared liner lets you bone grabs in ways that would make doves cry. Worried about that “Holy Shit” landing ending your existence? Your sole is saved with the most advanced cushioning system ever developed. No wonder disciples like Terje call upon this boot for guidance and clarity.

  • Flex Rating and Fit:Flex: 6 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff). The Burton Grail Snowboard Boots are a stiffer boot perfect for backcountry pow slashes and riders who prefer a bit more support from their boots.
  • Construction:The Articulating Cuff creates a fluid forward flex by allowing the upper and lower cuff of the boot to flex independently, thus minimizing shell distortion and maximizing heel hold and response. // The unique flex characteristics allow the new Flex Spine Backstay to flex laterally for maximum mobility while providing ample edge-to-edge support when it’s time to throw down the landing gear. // Thin Profile 3D Molded Tongue - Adjusting the profile of the tongue’s thickness controls its flex, enhances its ability to wrap the forefoot, and reduces shell/liner stack-up for improved comfort.
  • Liner and Lacing:Whether you have funky cankles or a grotesque sixth toe, rest assured that your feet will be wrapped with comfort in Burton’s Flex liner. While they fit great out of the box, you can even custom mold these babies to the shape of your foot with Burton’s EMU heat-molding system, found at your local shop.
  • Special Features:Shrinkage Footprint Reduction Technology reduces the boot’s overall footprint one full size, meaning a size 10 boot fits like a size 10, but has the footprint of a typical size 9. Shorter, lighter, and less bulky, with Shrinkage you can finally ride the board of your dreams.

These boots are great true to everything the description says and I loved how they were the traditional lace up system. I have had heard many complaints about the quick pull lace systems an prefer the old school style.

Comments about Burton Grail Snowboard Boots 2010:

I snowboard about 25 times per year. This year I wanted to get more into tricks so I bought a whole new setup. This included the X8, Mala-vita, and of course the Grails. Let me tell you, this boot is awesome! The comfort is perfect, with just the right amount of flex. The cushioning is good. With my old boots (Driver X), they were too stiff and firm to throw any spins. Doing so would result in bruised toes from correcting rotation upon landing. These are just right. I must say, I got a size 9.5, but had to downsize to a 9. A tight fit will loosen up to something that's perfect, so be cautious and don't let your foot bounce around!

Comments about Burton Grail Snowboard Boots 2010:

They blew my mind off. I never thought snowboard boots could feel so good. These babies feel more like sandals than they feel snowboard boots. They are so comfortable I am wearing them to go to work now... just kidding, but I thought about it that´s how comfortable they are. Totally recommend them. Stoked.

these boots are great! i usually don't write too many reviews, but after using them i was compelled to write this review... i wore them all day for 8 hrs after i got them and my feet felt great! Very comfortable! i wear a size 12 shoe and ended up getting a 10.5 size boots to reduce heel lift. I am totally happy with my purchase and would buy again! These boots have all the technology possible and i recommend them to anyone!

Comments about Burton Grail Snowboard Boots 2010:

These boots were exactly what I was looking for with regards to construction and comfort. Very durable and when you're strapped in the cushion makes it hard to distinguish where the boot ends and the board begins. Also helps when landing tricks in the park!

Comments about Burton Grail Snowboard Boots 2010:

Burton is fast becoming a producer of second rate equipement. As the sport of SB has evelved you would hope Burton would still be leading the way. I tried all the new boots and they are all about fashion and not about technology. Waiting for Voile to produce a boot then I won't have to buy a new pair of burtons every two years because they are trashed.
