Comments about Burton Emerald Snowboard Boots - Women's 2009:

I'm new to snowboarding but thought these boots were awesome compared to several I had rented previously. comfortable, easy lacing system, pocket for toe warmers was awesome- kept my feet toasty warm. I thought they ran about 1/2 size small, had to send back once for larger size.

Comments about Burton Emerald Snowboard Boots - Women's 2009:

This boot is great! It's comfortable, cute and easy to use. I've tried on many other lacing systems and this is by far still the easiest to lace and adjust. It is a full size bigger than my normal shoe size; I usually wear a 6-6.5 in shoes and I bought a 7.5 for this boot. It's kept me warm even in the coldest days of winter this season, didn't even have to use foot warmers!

Comments about Burton Emerald Snowboard Boots - Women's 2009:

I just started snowboarding and I found these boots to be really comfortable. They were a little snug at first but after wearing them about 4 times, they felt fine. The only thing I didn't like about these boots were that by the end of the run, they felt loose; sometimes in the middle of the run I would have to tighten them.

Comments about Burton Emerald Snowboard Boots - Women's 2009:

I bought these boots in time for a trip to Washington state. They were definitely a bit stiff at first. After a few days of riding they started to get much better. If you buy them, give them a good week or so to break in before freaking out. I always order a half size up in Snowboard boots, so I got a 8, instead of my usual 71/2 and they fit well. They have a nice lacing system with the upper & lower pull cords. It takes some getting used to if it's your first time, but it is leagues above and beyond ripping your hands raw trying to get your strings tight enough.

Comments about Burton Emerald Snowboard Boots - Women's 2009:

Great boot! The only issue is that the lacing system, though very easy to use, loosens up during riding. I end up having to pull and tug to make it snug about every other time I ride down. It's never loose enough that my foot would slip out but it is a bit annoying.

Comments about Burton Emerald Snowboard Boots - Women's 2009:

This seems to be a great boot for me so far. The lacing is far easier than my old traditional laceups but is still somewhat difficult because of the strength it takes to pull back on the laces.
One downside is that Sometimes the boot gets loose like the lacing system comes undone and where you tuck the ends of the pull system seems to be designed a little too snug to easily fit the inserts in).
