Burton Axel Snowboard Boots - Women's 2011: Fully loaded and ready to ride the entire mountain – the Burton Axel Snowboard Boot is designed around the explosive style of riders like Gabi Viteri. New Sweet Spot Speed Zone™ lacing combines with the new Rad Pad for heavenly heel hold and tightly-laced comfort, while the articulating cuff makes for fluid motion and increased tweak. Take-offs are now lighter and landings softer thanks to the boosted board feel of the new DynoLite EST™ optimized outsole with B3 Gel cushioning.

Construction
The new DynoLite EST Optimized Outsole with B3 Gel Cushioning keeps the boot lightweight and extremely comfortable.
Liner and Lacing
Speed Zone™ laces at the sweet spot around your ankle lock your heels in place, while upper and lower Velcro® Power Straps let you customize the fit of the cuff and forefoot. With three independent zones, you get more control over your fit and comfort, and even easier entry and exit. The Therm-ic Pre-Wired Liners are ready for heat! Simply connect your super slim Basix battery packs (sold separately), and choose between three heat settings. Get total control and all-day comfort with up to nine hours of heat from a single charge.

        WOW THESE ARE SO COMFORTABLE!! and fast to put on. I bought these in bronze/snake color size 8. I wear shoe size 8 and these fit me perfectly.Hands down these are most comfortable boots i have ever worn and owned! much more comfortable than the thirty two boa boots i had! at the end of the day with the burton boots, my feet does not hurt.

            I am not sure that these boots were not defective. I normally wear a 7.5 and I could not get the size 8 on my foot! Really inflexible too. Thank goodness for Evo's generous return policy. That is why I shop there!

                This is a very comfortable boot. I worn them 10 hours the first I had them and my feet were warm and comfortable the whole day. I bought this boot to plug in the heaters and it was worth it. The heaters are great! I would recommend this to anyone who suffers with cold toes.

                  Took these babes to Tahoe for a weekend of riding. I brought my old Burtons, just in case these were awful, and never needed them. They broke in in a day. No joke. The ankle cuff was super cush and the heel felt nice and snug...like I like it. We rode the park, hit some rails and did some free-riding and they felt great all day. One draw back, regarding the Therm-ic liners: they really only work for moderately cold environments. Once it dropped below 20, there was barely a noticeable temperature increase. Above 20, they were super toasty. My recommendation: get some technical socks and some rechargeable batteries and your good to go!

                      I bought these boots for a few reasons. I love the Burton lacing system. I had the boa lacing system before and I think the Burton system is even better! I have a lot of foot problems (4 surgeries and probably still counting) so I bought these boots hoping they would provide me with a little more pain free time riding than my old boots and so far they have helped. I would recommend getting them heat molded to your feet (I have yet to do this but I think it will make a big difference). My feet do get a little cold in them but they are pre-wired for heat so once I get the batteries this should not be an issue anymore. Overall great boot!
