Flex Rating and Fit

Flex Rating 7 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff)

Team Fit with a stiff flex for ultimate board feel and response

Construction

The Level 2 Footbed has a soft EVA heel pad for additional cushioning, molded EVA for anatomical support and cushioning, molded TPU for heel and arch support, a mesh topsheet for comfort, and perforations for breathability.

Designed in the STI Lab, the STI Evolution Foam™ provides better cushioning than traditional foam materials and dramatically reduces the weight by eliminating the need for a heavy rubber outsole.

System G2™ Gel outsole is a special temperature independent gel compound that has been exhaustively researched. The G2 Gel is less affected by temperature changes and will not bottom out of pop under high impacts.

Liner and Lacing

Level 4 Liner is 100% Heat Moldable for a true custom fit. The liner is made of dual density soft touch Ultralon foam for optimal comfort, warmth and support. Internal anatomical overlays in the heel offer optimal heel hold and the external overlays offer support and response. The liner features integrated Hook-and-Loop closure that reduces bulk and pressure points.

Aegis anti-microbial coating in lining to eliminate odors

Traditional Lacing

Special Features

Articulating cuff shell construction creates high-performing, smooth-flexing boots that are easier to lace and more durable. There is also less shell distortion, resulting in consistent heel hold through the full flex range.

Tongue Tension System

3D Molded Tongue wraps your foot for easier lacing, improved fit and heel hold

Comments about 32 TM-Two Chamberlain Snowboard Boots 2012:

Very light weight boot, great fit. Definitely get the liners heat molded to your feet by a professional. Don't let any sales rep talk you out of it, they will not mold to your foot properly over time. Thirty Two started the heat moldable liner and they know what their talking about. I have broken many metatarsals from motocross, therefore, have a few "hot spots" that ache like crazy...until I got these boots. No pain whatsoever! Can wear them all day and then night session the park in complete comfort and support! Articulated ankle provides more fore aft movement for easier ankle flexion/extension yet keep the lateral support stiffness to protect your ankles and allow good lateral tweaking of your board during maneuvers. Only complaint (sorry) is that the lower of the three metal lace eyelets really digs into and tears up the heel strap found on most conventional bindings. These eyelets tore into my Union SL's, & my Union Contacts' heel strap within a few days of riding. I have about 35 days on the new boots so far and despite a little packing out of the liners, they have lasted longer than their name (Thirty Two). I usually put in 120 days a season so we'll see how long they will last after the true test of time is complete!
