Constructed with the most durable metals and materials shaped specifically for women, like the Dupont™ Zytel® ST Milan baseplates and extruded aluminum heelcups, the Milans are prepared for all the bashing, bails, wear and tear you can inflict. An all-new strap system for holding your feet in place plus EVA bushings for damping vibrations underfoot gives you more control, so you step up your A-game.

Also, every Union heelcup undergoes an anodizing process—reinforcing the already bombproof apparatus with 30% more strength.
Grade 8.8 Hardware – The most commonly used hardware is made from "mild steel" that has a property class of only 4.6. Considering how much stress a binding goes through, Union uses only the highest-strength steel, with a property class of 8.8.
