Balanced for carving in powder just as well as it can take charge through crud, the Union Legacy Snowboard Bindings turn the average board into the extraordinary. Everything about the binding is female-specific, from the highback to the baseplate. Not only are the Legacy's anatomically advantageous for female shredders, they are a little on the stiffer side giving ladies versatility to handle powder lines, tree lines, park lines, or all of them in the same day.

Female-Specific Stage III Duraflex™ Base – Raw injected, pigment free Duraflex™ nylon provides increased base stiffness and durability.
Highback
Asym S1 Highback – This streamlined highback design provides a seamless boot interface with lateral flexibility for maximum tweakage. Extremely lightweight and durable.
Straps
3D Direct Connect Strap System – Multiple layers of durable and lightweight material in the core evenly distribute pressure across the top of your foot, giving you a comfortable and responsive ride.
Buckles
Magnesium Buckles – A high-tech manufacturing process produces a material that is extremely strong, durable and mega-lightweight. Plus, magnesium is recyclable and is one of the most abundant materials on the planet.
Additional Features
Universal Disks – Compatible with any traditional 4x4 mounting system and 3-hole board patterns. Channel Compatible Discs are available separately from Union to fit Burton snowboards with The Channel.
Grade 8.8 Hardware – The most commonly used hardware is made from "mild steel" that has a property class of only 4.6. Considering how much stress a binding is under, Union uses only the strongest steel on ALL hardware.

Intermediate-Advanced Whether you’re a progressing intermediate exploring new runs and terrain, or an accomplished rider seeking new thrills, the majority of skiers and snowboarders fall into this level. Intermediate to advanced skis and snowboards may be somewhat wider or stiffer than beginner-intermediate skis and snowboards, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Intermediate to advanced boots and bindings range from softer flexing freestyle options to stiffer choices built for stability at speed.

Stiff The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
