Comments about Union Charger Snowboard Bindings 2014:

The Union Charger is a great binding for those who want a stiffer, more responsive ride. I'm not sure if you can get a stiffer back/base because it's carbon fiber. Just remember to put the back down between runs so the chairlift doesn't beat on it. The base plate and ratchets are made from the best materials in the industry. It's nice to get away from plastic when you can. The Charger is compatible with Burton Channel, but I have only used it on the regular 4x4. The back can be adjusted side to side slightly, but I think it could be better. I recommend moving it so that it is parallel with your edge as this will change depending on stance. You can adjust the toe and heel strap and should try to get them close to center while boot is in.

            1 month review update 5/24/14

I was riding at Crystal Mt today and after 6 days of riding (not consecutive) I have managed to break the carbon fiber high back. It broke at the bolt hole causing the high back to wobble out of the heelcup. I had to cut my overnight camping trip to come home and get my SLs. I hope that since evo and union are both local for me I can get these fixed under warrenty. Although at this point I cannot recommend the Chargers with carbon fiber high backs. The Atlas binding doesn't weigh that much more and is going to be tougher and cheaper.

Comments about Union Charger Snowboard Bindings 2014:

I put these on a new Lib Tech Emma Peel. These are easily the best bindings I've ever had in 29 years of riding. Super comfortable and highly responsive. Gotta agree with Mel, they are a big upgrade from the SL. Took them through the Alpental backcountry today and was really impressed with how responsive they are. If you are looking for bindings I could not reccomend anything else than these, great for any type of riding.

Comments about Union Charger Snowboard Bindings 2014:

Love this binding... It is light, tuff, and responsive. I had these all year and got to use them in every condition this year. The best test was at the mt baker banked slalom... I made it into finals with the help of these bindings. I recommend attaching a lib or gnu below these bindings. Oh and the toe strap is a upgrade from last years, I think it fits better

Comments about Union Charger Snowboard Bindings 2014:

I LOVE these bindings. I only have one hand and they are some of the easiest bindings I've found to enter/exit. Especially since I don't care for rear entry bindings. I love the stiffness they offer as any movement I perform, transfers directly to the board with no noticeable lag or slop. Combined with my NS Board I couldn't be happier with my setup. I'm going to be sticking with these binders for a long while. I wear a size 10 Salomon Synapse Boa and I got the M/L binding and they fit perfectly. Very pleased with them. Worth the investment in my opinion!
                  Regards,
                  Grinch

Yes! This binding rocks. The stiff carbon fiber high-back creates for an overall responsive binding. Ive rode these bindings for one season now and im seriously impressed.

If you want a binding that listens to your feet, these are the ones!

Comments about Union Charger Snowboard Bindings 2014:

Put this bad boy on an NS Raptor and the response was definitely an upgrade over my previous year Union SL. I feel I have a psychic link to my board now. Short radius, dynamic carves are a breeze on super steep terrain.

The only drawback is the highback does not rotate, which I thought would effect comfort and response, but surprisingly, it has done neither.
