Union has created a superb product. Since entering the scene a couple years back they have made several innovative changes in the way bindings are constucted. Using new materials and construction/molding techniques this has creating stronger, lighter, overall more burely products. While the C4 is one of the lightest bindings I've ever used, at the same time it is the stiffest, most supportive and responsive binding I've ever strapped into. It comes with a lifetime warranty on the baseplate. I completely busted through two pairs of bindings last season. I don't expect to have that problem this year. Bottom line, this is hands down the best binding I've ever used.

*Quick not on sizing. Check their chart carefully. I got the L/XL size because I've always been a L in every other binding. In retrospect I probably would have had an improved, snugger fit with the M/L.
