Salomon The Boss Snowboard Bindings 2011

Salomon The Boss Snowboard Bindings 2011 – Born in the USA…well, and Canada, The Salomon The Boss Snowboard Bindings are no fuss, destruction ready bindings for urban jibs and backyard innovation. The perfect pair for the Salomonder Snowboard, Jed Anderson and Chris Grenier dialed in all the details for these bad boys from technology to design for a soft flexing, dependable freestyle ride.
Baseplate
The super lightweight Composite 30% Slasher Baseplate has a smooth, even freestyle flex thanks to polycarbonate material, more durable and comfortable than aluminum, and the new design allows 100g per pair to be shaved off.
Straps
The lightweight 3D Prime Core ankle strap curves perfectly to the shape of your boot for a crease-free flex, with super durable Cordure piping that’s built to last. The adjustable toe ramp is a dual layer toe pad with super easy adjustability for the best transmission on toe edge, pairing with the True-Grip Fast-Fit toe straps that are lighter weight, soft to touch and grips your toe box without crushing, with one less step when strapping in and one more dialed in detail that works. To top it off, the Viper Aluminum Buckle has increased rachet throw to get you a deeper grip with less effort, so your straps go on lightening fast and the new three point hinge mechanism and easy grip shape makes for a quick and easy release.
Highback
Inspired by tennis rackets, the Drumframe highback rebounds like a champ and is lightweight to boot.
Additional Features
EVA pads soften contact by absorbing the vibrations, Power Heel lock, and IMS, Salomon’s patented trick for keeping your disc screws in place while adjusting your bindings on the fly or swapping out boards.
Flex Rating
1 (1 Soft – 5 Stiff)

  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
    Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
